Update - I contacted Tripadvisor and they confirmed there was indeed a misrepresentation with regards to the advertisement On that basis it was confirmed that I would receive a full refund under the Payment Protection Scheme The process was straightforward and the Tripadvisor operatives were efficient and easy to speak to I booked an accommodation which I found out nearer my travel date that it had an address that was different to the map location shown next to the address The accommodation location is more than 10 miles away from the city centre which the map was showing This meant I needed a car to get there and I could not easily visit attractions within the city centre - location was simply not correct and not what I wanted Too bad I found out too late but this shows me the website doesn t do any due diligence Any owner can put in anything they want and there would be no help or recourse from Holiday Letting Limited Tripadvisor which owns the website because you can t contact them As a traveller this is risky because Holiday Letting takes a hands-off approach and all the risk is on me to do the due diligence - this doesn t instil confidence in me as a traveller consumer so I would advise people to avoid using this site and use other sites that have better due diligence

I can t say enough good things about Holiday Lettings I had major trouble with paying for my rental none of which was their problem My rental was cancelled due to non payment had great difficulty with my bank But once I explained and they saw I was actively trying to fix it with my bank They held my days for me and worked with me Carmen sherrea were awesome Sherrea even called me back That took one call off me The only bad thing and this is why I didn t give them 5 stars is you should really have a toll free number for us to call It cost me close to 200 to call the UK 4 times But they helped me immensely Thank you thank you thank you Valley

The Smithfield home turned out great Was very clean and inviting Booking was a little confusing due to so many different companies

I requested a lease of a rental in Fuengirola Spain and it was confirmed within 24 hours Details of access was agreed on a messenger tripadvisor strange but it worked

Really nice apartment Everything was clean good location just 10 min to the beach Jackie was very helpful and let me stay longer at my departure day because of late flight

Very straight forward experience booking Cider Press Cottage The cottage was perfect Very well equipped and comfortable Would recommend this as a great place to stay in the Forest of Dean

Not stayed at apartment yet so far all communication is going well I made mistake on dates and paid for 3 extra nights I didn t need I got full refund for these nights real fast Will update after stay
