Received a soft threatening mail supposedly from my local council inviting me to provide personal information into a non gov uk website and I must do so before October 31st or I ll be fined If this is legitimate local government really doesn t have a clue about online safety

I called my local council and CONFIRMED
I called my local council and CONFIRMED that this is a legitimate website that the council uses to try to save paperwork However be cautious -- make sure the email is coming from your electoral at councilname gov uk council and not some dodgy email address
