Unsatisfactory Experience with Hushed

I initially turned to Hushed to obtain a virtual UK number for my business Everything went smoothly at the beginning Registration was on March 15th and although I faced an account blockage within 2 weeks their support team was prompt and helpful in resolving the issue I was so confident in their service that I even paid for my phone number a year in advance to ensure continuity However my confidence was shattered on September 18th when my account was abruptly blocked again without any apparent reason Upon contacting their support I was informed that I had violated their Terms of Service ToS I painstakingly went through their ToS multiple times and could not find any clause that I might have breached When I asked for further clarification I was met with silence This situation has left me in a bind Not only have I wasted around 200 GBP but I now have the onerous task of transitioning my business services to a new number Without a clear understanding of what went wrong I m left with the fear of unknowingly making the same mistake again Luckily I have since found an alternative service that not only provides clear ToS but also offers a web version which is much more convenient The pricing is comparable to Hushed but the clarity and peace of mind make it invaluable To potential users of Hushed The platform may seem promising but my experience has been marred by uncertainty and unresponsiveness Approach with caution

took lifetime membership within 2 months they disabled my account permanently without notification i used it only for receiving sms barely used for calling I was travelling in aboard when contacted support they said i overused barely some 20 sms and may be 30 minutes of calling in 2 months and permanently disable it was well within alloated quota even if exceeced they should just ask for more money to top up the account instead of permanently disable they don t have any details or any way to recover either they are unethical at deep level promising lifetime and then when they got enough monthly paying customers disabled the account completely unfit crazy kids running the company need some professional adults in the industry the company has a ethical hole trustpilot collective score of terrilble even if they become big one day will crash even mighty Enron worldcom lehman brothers crashed due to lack of ethics count down begins

Unexplained Suspension of Services Seeking Transparency

I am writing to express my concern and seek clarity regarding a recent experience with Hushed On the 12th of July 2023 I purchased a phone number from Hushed intending to use it as a business contact for my website The transaction was made using my MasterCard ending in 8586 Unexpectedly a few days ago I found myself unable to log into the Hushed app Upon contacting customer service for an explanation I was informed that my account and the number had been suspended due to a violation of the Terms of Service TOS This came as a surprise to me as I had not made or received any calls on this number it was solely intended for business purposes on my website I sought clarification from the customer service team requesting specific details or evidence of the alleged TOS violation However I was informed that they could not provide any details citing the TOS violation as the reason This response left me without a clear understanding of what transpired or how I might have inadvertently breached their policies I am deeply concerned about this situation as I have noticed similar experiences shared by other customers on this platform The lack of transparency and inability to provide concrete evidence for the suspension raises questions about the practices being employed As a customer who entered this agreement in good faith I am seeking a more detailed explanation of the alleged violation or at the very least a fair and transparent review of my case I believe in resolving issues amicably and hope that Hushed will provide a satisfactory response to this perplexing situation Thank you for your attention to this matter

Hello As it seems I fall victim of this company as well I decided to buy a line with Hushed company and something strange happened I tried using my numer that hushed provided but it was not working I tried to contact their support and waited for 48 hours to get a reply from their support informing me that the account has been suspended because i was violating the terms and condition I have a question for you how I am supposed to break the policy if I didn t used your service because it never worked

I am conducting a court care against this company case no B 67889 21 I make sure this company will never made any sale in India the case and details will be shared to them soon and for you do not buy there product If you are Indian Other country I have nothing to say I have found quite a few logs where it suggest that this company read customers sms I have enough proof of that I We also have a company located in Illinois United States and we are in a discussion with out attorney to sue this company Due to some obligation I am not giving any such subscription details from hushed Voip However enough proof has been submitted to Govt Of India Including malicious codes and how they read customer s sms Update We filed a case to FTC against hushed I have a personal hearing on 14 Sep 23 I will update soon I feel sorry for this company

My Account Was Deactivated Without Notice

I subscribed to a 1-year unlimited plan in October 2022 adding a second number in March 2023 Both phone numbers are lightly used with a few text messages and call My account was deactivated without any notice or reason about a week ago I have reached out to support but after the initial email responding to the report no one has responded again to my follow-up Fortunately I read the Trustpilot reviews and contacted Heather the response I got is that there is nothing she can do to reactivate my account I have no answer as to why my account was deactivated I feel duped by Hushed They wouldn t respond to my inquiry nor refund my unused subscription

Extreme Disappointment with Hushed App

I m writing this review after experiencing immense frustration with the Hushed App I had purchased several lifetime numbers through this application Now to my utter shock all of them have mysteriously expired without any prior notification I was not provided with any email notice or warning about this unexpected change This lack of communication from the company s end is highly unprofessional and downright disrespectful to a paying customer The customer support is another area where this app severely disappoints I reached out for assistance hoping to resolve my issue only to be met with silence The lack of response and resolution from their side has further intensified my dissatisfaction To add insult to injury they now want me to repurchase the numbers This feels like a scheme to extract more money from their customers without providing the promised services I m extremely disheartened by my experience with Hushed App and caution others to avoid this company at all costs Based on my experience I am compelled to give a 0-star rating

NUMBER EXPIRED ACCOUNT DEACTIVATED FOR NO REASON

I subscribed for an unlimited monthly UK number today For some reason unbeknownst to me I got an email that a refund has been issued and my number has expired and I ve got to make additional payment to restore my number What is going on here This is the 2nd time this week Now I have lost all text messages and call logs With the number of complaints here it s very evident that this is their MO Never using again Considering legal action
