Urgent carpet clean up of blood

I recently needed an urgent carpet clean after my dad having an accident and quite a lot of blood being left I tried in panic cleaning the blood up myself but did the complete wrong things so I was so impressed with the results after Richard came a few days later and the treatment he used removed it all I will also remember his tips that if the incident was ever to happen again to make sure I use cold water and dab it with kitchen towel instead of scrubbing thank you once again Richard
