Great Price

Pricing is hard to beat but the support is sub par

This is a final update

This is a final update of my previous two reviews of Intermedia Sadly I will be canceling my service and using another VOIP phone service I gave the company numerous opportunities to remedy the deficiencies but I think they do not have the ability to do so The text message function cannot be fixed You cannot delete prior messages so when you want to send a new text to any contact it is automatically attached to the previous message s You cannot delete any prior calls in the history section The phone app doesn t always notify you of messages or calls In speaking with other VOIP companies I was told that these problems result from Intermedia s system but honestly I don t have the technical knowledge to understand it all What I can say is that when I have contacted them the service people say they will work on it and then I never hear from them again If you want to use or rely upon the mobile app to conduct business with your VOIP phone number you may wish to investigate using another company for that service This one is disappointing

Intermedia issues

Two complaints issues 1 emails in my inboxes get multiplied 2 outlook template emails cannot be resent they end up being blank - I have to copy the content and paste to a new email

Somewhat confusing process to retrieve password

You sent me a code over email to enter in a form that did not have a code field to enter The form had a field that did say ID which is not the same as code but upon entering the sent code in the ID field it worked out

Not ready for prime time

The tech support is very good responsive however the phone app is deficient You cannot delete any prior text messages or calls the incoming texts only show the number forcing you to go through your entire contact list to match it to a name so you can determine who sent the text incoming reply texts are not included in a text conversation but appear as a new unrelated text which seems to occur if the phone number you use for a text has parentheses I think the tech people are great but this service is mostly not ready for prime time If you have a web FAX with them as I do for business the confirmation is deficient It just shows delivered the date only It doesn t show how many pages were delivered which isn t sufficient for business or the courts

Good efficient service clunky interface

I signed up through Costco for voice services -- phone auto attendant etc Reasonably priced but not a bargain It does what it says - but there are several things that they could do better -- The UI on web is rally clunky and more 2006 than 2016 -- Voice is the only service I have they offer a lot more I would sign up if they were presented more clearly -- Prices and costs are not clearly stated - for example I am looking for email service but for the life of me can t get any idea of what it would cost

Great bundle of services just misses the mark

My company uses email phone sync pc backup and just recently added SecuriSync cloud server Too many of our trade partners and banks filter Intermedia out so that we can t share cloud files as easily as hoped Also using SecuriSync in MSOffice gets annoying sometimes due to the ever re-appearing panel that is too big Also multiple users can share files but the links between files only work for one person since it links through their individual desktop file path vs a file path in the cloud shared by all

The Future is Intermedia

Having multiple partnerships in the industry Intermedia has one of the best technology mixes Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and fun to work with They just need to improve on backend processes for allowing seem-less integration for client sign-up invoicing email details and other private label customizations such as the knowledge base and brand-able URLs like Google Apps Also a bit more focus on Mac OS to make sure everything is 100 compatible without odd quicks would reach the 5 star rating
