Conclusion If you need generous unlimited storage performance isn t a priority and you re pretty sure you won t need help more than on a few occasions I honestly think they are a great option However If performance is important and you wish for good help every time you need it I wouldn t recommend them The plus 1 Generous unlimited storage policy nextcloud allowed for instance 2 A select few people there are very skilled and helpful 3 They have a price lock for life policy so the monthly price you sign up for will be honored for the rest of the lifetime of the subscription which is pretty cool 4 Price is decent The minus 1 Unfortunately getting help is beyond frustrating Not always as I mentioned above some of the people are great But too many of the people I ve talked to have a very hard time answering very simple questions As an example I wrote I never received any email with login details how can I access them The response to this message was What error message did you receive It literally took 5 messages to explain that I needed the login details I have several examples of these kinds of conversations To me this became an issue 2 I was misinformed several times by different people It seems like they don t really have clear policies so one person can try and help you with an issue for quite some time while the next person comes in and says that won t work since it s not included in your subscription This caused too much confusion and made me waste a lot of time and it happened on several occasions In the end it made me loose trust in their support 3 The other big minus for me was the performance shared hosting Upload speeds to the server were around 300bytes second this might be different depending on your location I don t know But for me I was never able to upload a backed up site to restore on the new host because of all the time outs etc Comparing this to the host I moved to the same site took less than a minute to upload 4 Even if Nextcloud is allowed it s just not an option the performance is so poor that it takes ages to toggle between services etc

I expectes the webhosting site to be a little more modern and maybe more user friendly than it is I hope you understand

Chat support is absolutely abysmal It s like trying to explain to a 3-year-old your simple problem they don t understand clear English and simple technical problems that would take real technical support seconds to resolve from there end Luckily I only use my hosting for my business emails email hosting and not hosting my business e-commerce site because we d lose a ton in sales If your looking for a simple site for a hobby then maybe go with these if your looking for a professional web hoster for your business AVOID like the plague

Ok for one website but I needed a second one a few months after the first one and even after I paid for it none of the website building applications found the domain so I could not build the website for that domain even after paying for it I asked for my money back Their chat customer service reps are offshore and didn t know how to help me Cant possibly understand how they have so many positive reviews

The agent that was on my case was very helpful and patient with me until he asked for my AWS Server credentials I was shocked Truly He also told me that the agents are allowed to ask for credentials but not join anydesk or Zoom meeting which is weird Hope you take this into consideration and as a serious manner Because now have less trust in Interserver
