Whilst the actual leather phone bag is great one of the finishing circular clips with the included leather strap is defective when I received my bag Despite me sending an email with photos of the issues and talking to a live person on chat who just directed me back to writing an email the response from J H Customer Service on my email is non existent it s been two weeks now and still no response So disappointing and not what you expect from a premium leather brand Since I sent the email I have tested the phone bag and the additional acrylic chain strap I bought out and I m disappointed in the acrylic strap- it s just too heavy and clunky for such a lovely leather bag - a similar chain strap half the size would be better and if it is as well made as the current chunky chain strap it will match the bag perfectly But I guess that is personal preference Back to the circular clips and apart from one being totally useless on arrival another circle clip has since become very loose I love J H I have had several designs of their bags over the years but when something goes wrong and you complain or try to get hold of customer service they never respond to you or you get a nasty snarky email Whilst I did not let one bad apple ruin my love of J H leather goods it is extremely disappointing that I cannot ever get a response or replacement hardware for defective parts especially when I want to buy another in a different colour Come on J H you can do so much better than this

Nice wallet really like it Asked for a Mocha but got a two tone version of Mocha and Ran Would be 5 5 except for that

Updated better but not perfect
Updated Customer service contacted post original review and an alternate wallet sent Though its better than the original by a long way as the original was shocking Front pocket on the alternative however too tight to fit a card told it will ease over time but not sure how if you can t use it Main compartment feels ok at present So all in all certainly a lot better than original wallet though it won t be my intended daily driver for commuting and will have to look elsewhere

Good quality but flawed design
Product arrived on time although I had to ask a question before ordering as the description was vague When the product arrived the answer I was given to the question turned out to be completely incorrect The product is good quality the leather studs and zips are all well made and feel solid There are no issues externally although the internal divider is poor - it slides around all over the place and gets in the way more than it helps

Customer service very dissapointing
Stiches under a shoulder strap started coming off after couple of weeks I emailed the customer service Exchanged couple of e-mails with them They offered to send a new backpack which is not in the color I purchased Wanted to check whethere there is an option to deliver the color that is available on SA site haven t received any response in months now Very disappointed having in mind the item was promoted as luxurious high quality Never experienced such customer service Edit new backpack arrived today Hope the sholder straps will be sturdier

Missing Zip
Ordered a bag have had 2 previously very good this bag came with a missing zip I emailed to request one be sent They responded promptly apologising and said they would send a zip immediately 10 days later still no zip Not good when you pay a significant amount of money for a bag Bags are great quality so hopefully this is just a blip on their partUpdate 2 1 2 weeks later after having no joy with customer services someone higher up picked up my complaint and sent me a new bag and a small gift Still disappointing it took so long but a happy customer now

Unclear Delivery Estimates and Unhelpful Customer Service
I had a disappointing experience with Jekyll Hide s delivery service Despite placing an order well in advance of Christmas the process took far longer than the advertised timeframes due to lengthy personalisation and delivery delays The unclear and overly optimistic delivery estimates left little room for error resulting in a stressful and unsatisfactory experience While the product itself may be fine the service and communication left much to be desired I would hesitate to order again unless the timelines were improved or made more transparent

Disappointing Delivery experience and poor customer support
I placed an order on the 11th of December from Jekyll Hide expecting my item to arrive comfortably before Christmas based on their delivery estimates Unfortunately the actual timeline pushed to the maximum end causing unnecessary stress When I raised my concerns their response felt quite inadequate as it seemed to point out what I should have done differently rather than addressing the issue I hope they improve their communication and provide more accurate estimates in the future in order to reorder from them
