Again and again The fine print leaves you screwed The subscriptionis a 12 month course which unbeknownst to you is renewed automatically without warning into a 24 month deal It could be such a nice company if they were more sincere about how they get their money Let the customer know about the fine print BEFORE you take the money Not friendly and I see it is a common complaint with KETOCYCLE MARECYCLE for me Bad communication ON a further note Trustpilot claims they Ketocycle answers 92 of all complaints within 24 hours I was promised a reply within 12 hours from Ketocycle support TWICE in one day after the unscrupulous credit card activity one month ago They never answered Now a month later they are shoving the 14 day rule in my face Seems like they are spending all their time doing damage control in order maintain a business which seems to rely on the unannounced AUTORENEW Not funny at all Not a decent business model Answer your support questions first UPDATE

Meal pictures look good but actual

Meal pictures look good but actual portion size doesn t relate Would like to have more options when selecting what you do and or don t want in your plan For example I selected no seafood but I do like tuna It s never on the plan because of my selection Psyllium husk powder isn t easy to find Would like to create a meal to see how it affects the nutrition gauge with out having to log it Would like a food search bar on main screen for nutrition info Some food searches don t show up unless it s typed a certain way Example pizza only brings up pizza dough yet there are multiple pizza meals offered on this plan Hope this helps

Good kick starter- lots of tweaks to make worth sticking with it over free apps

It s definitely helped me understand Keto more and what I need to do The actual sign up process was ridiculous as you know very little information on what you re getting unless you sign up and then every second click is then trying to upsell you with other things but not explain why if you want need it Once you ve skipped through all the junk you can play around with the app and start meal prepping The pictures are misleading for the meals I saw a great looking sausage casserole but when I went to make it you actually only got 1 5 sausages as a portion It s very American based so the measurements and ingredients don t always translate well The nice chart thing that says if you re in your portions limits only works for today So it s not that easy to meal map the week Overall- it s been great for getting me started and educated- but offers no real value that you can t get from my fitness pal and Googling recipes

I appreciate the motivation that I got

I appreciate the motivation that I got from paying for the 3 month program However the functionality of the app is so much less than another program I use and the cost for premium for the other app is the same cost for a year and its keto support offers 10x the functions

Mixed Feelings

Recipes have been helpful however there are not enough snack options And I don t like that you can not change ingredients or substitute There should be an option to scan a bar code and add a new item if it does not exist in the data base currentlyit just tells you it can not be found When entering a full recipe you should be able to select how many servings it provides and how many you are eating Also I sent my pictures in the last 2 weeks and have yet to have a response that my email was received This is definitely not motivating

Some things were great

Some things were great The meals I ve tried have been good and amazingly can be prepared within the 30 minutes a day guideline I provided Where the plan falls short in my opinion is that it is really difficult to customize meals or snacks Honestly you should be able to input a soy creamer that you put in your coffee or substitute a commercial low carb meal with a lot less hassle than is required After a month I never have learned how to do it correctly and I have three postgraduate degrees It s just frustrating and has caused me to quit using the app

I would like to have a data base of food items and their carb fat and protein content Also a running daily total of total carbs fats and protein consumed

I would like to have a data base of food items so that when I want to eat something not on the menu I can add it to my day I would like to be able to look up the carb content of food items so that I can make good choices Also I cannot get the create my meal feature to work I would like to see my daily carb fat and protein count at any point I cannot find anywhere on the app where it shows me how many carbs I have eaten in any one day I am tracking that separately It makes having the app kind of useless once you have all of the menus and meal options

Great app but there s room for improvement

The app is very useful if you re making and logging the meals the plan offers Recipes are easy to make and delicious However if you re eating something different it s a pain to have to log everything individually because it s not on the list Same applies to their database when scanning barcodes for pre-made products Also if using the Keto 2 0 plan which book you purchase and download at an additional cost the meals are not in their system You must enter everything by using the create meal option and submitting the nutritional values I like the app and plan in general but there s definitely room for improvement

App needs work

I like the planned meals even though they contain things I can either not buy where I live nor change out for something equivalent The app needs work to allow people to make meals adaptable within the keyto rules

Not suitable for me

I was originally going to give this review a single star - I cannot give more than 3 stars as Keto Cycle is not suitable to me however I have been given a refund so the company itself is not too bad I subscribed to their 6 month plan thinking that it would help me on my weight loss journey with intermittent fasting and a modified keto diet 30 minutes after purchasing after having a brief look at the sort of meals that they suggest and finding out that they only cater to meal plans for 3 4 or 5 meals a day no intermittent fasting at all fiddly recipes with small amounts of lots of different ingredients Being a widow living on my own this is not really viable as there will be a lot of wastage and not being very customisable I cancelled the subscription and expected to be able to get a full refund I contacted Ketocycle online and by email within 30 minutes of having subscribed and they originally said as I could not provide evidentiary support for the faultiness of their app that they could not issue a refund however they have reconsidered and I now have a full refund Thank you
