Trans-Siberian Railway

My partner and I took a trip on the Trans-Siberian railway through Kilroy s agent Casper O We flew to Moscow and then took the train to Irkutsk making one-day stops in Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk We spent four days in Irkutsk and visited Lake Baikal and then flew back to Moscow and Copenhagen The support provided by Casper at Kilroy was flawless We planned the trip on a rather short notice and yet everything was running very smoothly The accommodation was of good quality especially the Marriott in Irkutsk With the tickets and data provided by Kilroy getting on board the train and taking a 5000 km ride was quite smooth and relaxing save the occasional language barrier issue The staff in all the hotels trains and restaurants was very friendly but I would not expect too much hygge in any of the cities we visited By far the best parts of the trip were 1 just being on board the train and 2 the time spent in Irkutsk and at Lake Baikal In retropsect if we went for this trip again we d skip Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk and go all the way to Beijing That way we d enjoy some more landscape and cultural variety and drop some of the inhospitable Soviet-style concrete monstrosities We would definitely book through Kilroy again
