Currently ongoing project extremely disappointed
We bought a new construction home recently but we were not happy with the quality of the kitchen so after lots of research we decided to work with Kitchen Magic Up until the last day things went smoothly We felt that from the beginning working with Peter on the estimate then the designer then the various people who got in touch with us to communicate with us about necessary things like material drop offs and timings were very good First the cabinetry people came and finished off the work quickly then the stone people came for the countertops then the tile person to do the backsplash and the plumber in between those jobs here and there to prepare the new line for the pot filler then to install the faucet after the countertops were placed and the last day was supposed to be the pot filler The last day was supposed to be the 17th and today is the 21st and we are still not done and we have no idea when this will get done Long story short two guys came on Monday from MM L and installed the pot filler which took nearly three hours and it didn t sound like it was going well during that time as the pot filler kept on going up and down as if something wasn t quite right When they told us they were done we went to check their work Nothing seemed amiss The head plumber told us that the silicone needs to dry completely and that we should not touch it for a few hours and the longer we leave it alone the better So hours later I go to check it out and there was a crack next to the base of the pot filler I inspected it closer and it was evident that the crack happened as they installed the pot filler and in an attempt to cover it up they put extrasilicone over it so we would not notice I don t know anything about home repairs but it looks like in the drying process the silicone shrunk a bit and the crack was exposed Another problem is that the pot filler is crooked I immediately called the owner of MM L and he said he thinks when the guys were installing it they needed to cut a bit of the backsplash and in the process he thinks they cracked it and that he could fix the tile but then he has to take it off fix the tile let it dry and then put the pot filler back on again My question is why didn t they let us know instead of not letting us know and tried to conceal it and now making us wait longer for a finished kitchen I found it hugely unethical and let him know that I no longer feel comfortable having him or his crew in my house The plumber let Kitchen Magic know about what happened and someone named Sara called me on Monday evening on the 17th Our project manager is Nancy but Sara told us that she is away for the week and that she would be taking care of this for us Everyday we get the same story from Sara She is looking into it and that she d call us back that day Then she never calls Here is the info we got from her the past few days I will look into this for you The head plumber is not here today so I have to speak with him first and I will let you know Today on the 21st she is still telling us the same story And today she even said that she only found out about this on the evening of the 18th even though she spoke to her about this on the 17th We are still waiting for someone to call us back and let us know how exactly they intend to resolve the issue and when this will take place This should not take four days for a plumber to be scheduled to fix something that they messed up in the first place

I would not recommend Kitchen Magic
We will make this as short as possible We had nothing but problems with Kitchen Magic Salesman was nice however when we didn t sign the contract right away he reduced the price by over 3 000 within 3 days Then when we didn t accept that he even lowered it again Prices were very very high we thought He was very kind and did assist when we were having problems We were never told the counters were sub out which added an additional thousands of dollars Almost every cabinet door had bubbles in the paint and had to be replaced NUMEROUS times which meant someone had to be here for the delivery and the installation of the cabinet doors each time Four times and different workers three times When the counter was being installed it was carried in the kitchen and the workers got it wedged between new micro rave and wall which left a dent in the micro wave and a hole in the wall The manager Raymond at Kitchen Magic was called several times and each time was more arrogant and rude He should never be in a managers position He said he tried to find us a new micro wave took a week and said he could not I found the same one in an hour Matt another Manager tried to solve the cabinet door problem with the bubbles but that took weeks as well but he did try and he was professional and kind unlike Raymond Our french door refrigerator also was dented slightly but we never got that situation remedied We just gave up didn t want to deal with Raymond anymore We have already talked with three potential Kitchen Magic customers who have since changed their minds and went elsewhere We are not out to ruin Kitchen Magic however we do want people to know the truth and not spend their hard earned money and get this type of service We were so excited about this project but it was a nightmare Took weeks to complete not 3-5 days as they claim Also when they installed the counter top Quartz they brought the wrong sink-it was backwards so again that meant we had to make arrangements again to have someone here when they had to come back and install the correct sink Problem after problem We have pics and documentation to back all this up We built our home 19 years ago and never had problems like this If we could we would have just have Kitchen Magic take everything they did out and return our old kitchen So please think twice about hiring Kitchen Magic for anything We wish we could tell you better things but this is the truth

Would not recommend using Kitchen Magic
Would not recommend using Kitchen Magic for kitchen remodeling While yes the final product is good getting there was awful They sent the wrong supplies 3 different times the counters had to be redone 3 times due to communication error we didn t get the right drawer we asked for due to someone ordering the wrong thing ended up getting our money back for it because it wasn t worth all the issues they seemed to be having hinges and knobs weren t sent the list goes on I can say it comes down to the communication with the project manager to the team and to us was lacking to say the least If we wanted any kind of update we had to call or email and she started not even responding to those until there were 2 or more Extremely unprofessional unorganized and very poor communication just an awful experience They always seemed to place blame to the contractor or anyone that wasn t them which I really did not like I was told on several occasions that the contractor was the one that messed up which should have never been said as we spoke with the contractor daily got more updates from him and he showed us the paperwork that said from Kitchen Magic exactly what was done wrong to be done the contractors are relying on the project manager to communicate correctly and in our instance that did not occur throwing the entire project into shambles The project went on for 2 months and still going due to them not sending a knob to the cabinet which we were told to screw on ourselves which is fine Do not recommend

Warranty does not cover product getting wet
I had Kitchen Magic come out to do a face lift to my kitchen Part of the job was to remove the blank face plates in front of the sink and install two tilt out doors to put sponges and stuff in for storage Both of these doors have since started swelling at the bottom to the point where the seems are starting to pop and come apart I called customer service and was told that this was water damage and not covered by the warranty However I could buy new fronts and they could give me a quote for this When I said I did not think I should spend anymore money as I already paid a premium price for what I thought was a premium product and apparently this would just happen again I was told that all they could do was to send me one of the doors and if I would not buy the other then they would not install it and I was on my own Not sure what these doors are made of but to build them out of something that will swell when they come in contact with water and place them in front of a kitchen sink where they could get water on them not to mention they are designed to hold sponges which very possibly could be at least damp is unacceptable These doors are not anyplace where the water could freeze to cause this separation they apparently just absorbed water and swelled like cheap particle board doors which by no means these are Up until this point I was extremely satisfied but would not recommend this product for a kitchen unless you are planning to sell the house and even then probably just before closing

Magically ridiculous
Their prices on countertops are extortionate and preposterous For a quality quartz countertop we received quotes that ranged between 50 to 150 per square foot however with kitchen magic their absurd pricing for quartz countertops ranged between 500 to 700 per square foot Their astronomical pricing is beyond human comprehension

HAD PHONE CALL 3 40PM TODAY TO CANCEL KITCHEN FITTING FOR 8AM TOMORROW FRIDAY MORNING THEY WANT TO COME THE NEXT DAY SATURDAY THE ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT BOOKED FOR MONTHS NO WAY ARE THEY COMING SATURDAY I AM GOING TO SEE BARRY MANILOW LEEDS ARENA BOOKED YEARS AGO AND CANCELED AND CANCELED DUE TO COVID KITCHEN MAGIC OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO COMMITEMENT TO CUSTOMERS IF A DATE IS BOOKED THAT S THE DATE YOU HAVE TO WAIT MONTHS AND MONTHS FOR A FITTING DATE AND THEN THEY THINK THEY CAN JUST CANCEL AT WILL OBVIOUSLY THEY MUST THINK CUSTOMERS ARE JUST THINGS TO BE USED TO OBTAIN MONEY IN THIS NEW WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN IN MY OLD FASHIONED WORLD A DEAL IS A DEAL AND A DATE AGREED IS A DATE TO BE ADHERED TO SO DISGUSTED THEY HAVE HAD HALF OF THE MONEY UPFRONT FOR MONTHS AND THEN THEY JUST THINK THEY CAN MOVE THE GOALPOSTS AT THEIR WILL WELL THEY CAN T FOR ME I HAVE TOLD THEM I EXPECT FITTERS TO BE HERE 8AM TOMORROW MORNING AS AGREED NO WAY WILL I RECOMMEND KITCHEN MAGIC TO ANYONE ALREADY HAD A DEBACLE WITH ANOTHER KITCHEN FIRM AND MANGED TO GET MY MONEY BACK OBVIOUSLY CUSTOMERS ARE OF NO IMPORTANCE WE ARE JUST CASH COWS TO BE MANIPULATED

This debacle began in the fall of 21
This debacle began in the fall of 21 and my fourth appointment has been scheduled three weeks from my third in March 22 All this time inconvenience and upset in my home just to install molding 18 door and 5 drawer fronts First appointment molding left off order five door fronts were defective but were installed anyway 2nd appointment a different installer at my insistence arrived to finish the job or so I thought to replace five door fronts and install molding One of replacement door fronts was for the wrong side of cabinet and molding was the wrong color 3rd appointment replacement molding was installed but 3rd iteration of cabinet door front had the holes for hinges in wrong location Customer service promised me that they put extra measures in place for inspections of the last item to ensure it s correct How disconcerting is that statement After three follow up appointments Kitchen Magic is assuring me that on the fourth try they will finally get it right Kitchen Magic turned into Kitchen nightmare

Work was done not satisfied with the results at the end called to find a solution how to fixed my situation was told I have to paid extra to get the job rectified mind me it s a 5000 project very dissatisfied never again

We had Kitchen Magic redo our kitchen many years ago It s now time to take advantage of their so called Lifetime Warranty What a Joke Every number I call is the same You re on hold for 20 minutes and still no one answers Emailing is a joke as well NO ANSWER NEVER AGAIN
