Ordered online and only part of the order arrived A month later and I can t get anyone to call me back - have left several messages and emails Terrible customer service

Having spent 40 and booked in we have just been told our booking was invalid We rang up on multiple occasions to book but never got through and so used their online system We travelled 20miles into Notts just for this for a birthday treat and was then turned away First they said that they tried to ring us but we proved to them that they didn t Then they tried to tell us they needed an email but that had been provided and again they did not use it We would have not been so unhappy if they had actually attempted to contact us but they lied about it and did not like that we proved they had lied My daughter has been very upset about this and will not be returning again which is a shame as we have been many times before and enjoyed it

We booked the Kitty Cafe in Birmingham for my daughter s birthday with a few of her friends The design of the cafe is lovely Unfortunately that s about the only good thing There was 7 of us in our party For an establishment that says you have to be out in an hour service was very slow Three of our group had finished their food before the rest had even been given their meals Loaded nachos were clearly just shoved in the microwave and potato wedges were still hard in the middle When I spoke to a member staff I was told nowhere brings all the food out together I am not usually one to write review but I was so disappointed we travelled all the way from Milton Keynes for this and on my daughter s birthday Absolutely not worth it

I hate to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this is earned and deserved We visited the Nottingham Kitty Cafe on Saturday 31st July 3 Adults and 3 Children we were unaware of the 30 welfare fee on top of our pre-booked meals but thought given the nature of the cafe and the excited kids that we d go ahead and pay a smidge under 100 later we made our way to the table for our afternoon tea s our drinks arrived after 15mins but we had to wait 35mins for our pre-booked food once it arrived and after receiving an unsympathetic apology we were disappointed to say the least 21 99 for afternoon tea that looks like it cost less than 1 99 to make each cake stand had a sandwich 2 slices of bread cut into 3 small slices and filled with a bit of ham egg mayonnaise and tuna then cut in half again to make 6 very small bite size snacks The scones were scones nothing special Then the cakes on top oh dear A pitiful attempt to say the least even the kids didn t eat them Such a shame as we were all so excited yet ALL left bitterly disappointed I will not be visiting again and will be advising friends NOT to bother either

Don t buy from this company

I bought two cat beds from this company After the order confirmation I heard nothing else I followed up a month later but they had no answers why I hadn t received the beds I asked for a refund but never received it after chasing them over email for weeks Eventually I had to claim it back via Visa During this time I visited the cafe itself The cats seemed jumpy and uncomfortable They were either racing around or sat up high to get out of the way The service was slow and the food was average

Not a very good experience at all the welfare fees for adults and children were 2 difference with the adults paying more not sure why Waited at least 10 minutes to be seated then another 10 15 minutes to take the order by the time the food and drinks came out we only had 20 minutes left You only get an hour then your ushered out the door The drinks were ok but the food was awful Cats were pinned in the corner by children and so weren t allowed to wonder freely 52 not well spent I won t be going back

The poor cats

The poor cats Constantly harassed by BRAT children It should either be adult only or the parents should control their damn children It s not great trying to sit their eating and having a drink with about 10 kids swarming your table bevause of one cat

AVOID if you care about the welfare of cats NOT a Rescue Centre

Please don t visit this atrocious place The Kitty Cafe do not care about the welfare of their cats They claim to be a rescue however only the poorly behaved cats go up for adoption Having visited the cafe and had nothing but a terrible experience I spoke with an employee of the Kitty Cafe I have since seen photos of the very small cages that the poor cats are locked up in overnight and now know why certain cats have been there for years Unfortunately cats like Jonny in Nottingham will never leave the cafe due to his good nature and the money he generates for the cafe Only the poorly behaved cats are offered loving homes as the Kitty Cafe cares only about the profits they make If you visit the Kitty Cafe your experience will go something like this Waiting a long time in the entry queue to pay 7 per person whilst the staff members stand around chatting Then you will order poor quality expensive food this will probably never arrive at your table A lack of rule enforcement will mean you ll see very young children waving things in cats faces poking them whilst they re sleeping and teasing them with food and the poor cats who clearly need their eyes wiping not to mention the children climbing across your table to reach the sleeping cats Most staff members have no interest in the cats wellbeing Do not fund this terrible company

Afternoon tea in Leeds

We went to the Leeds cafe and had afternoon tea Food was dry Obviously prepared hours in advance Hardly any cats We counted 10 Literally have more at home Staff looked miserable and patrolling and pacing up and down like a prison officers Not what we expected Will not be going again
