Products ok but advertising is misleading

Products are good if you take time to see what the sizes are and how much they would be full price but customer service isn t amazing takes a long time to respond and seems to selectively choose what they respond to if they don t like your enquiry Their live chat function doesn t work and when you leave a message via there no one seems to pick it up They say that you get free delivery on additional boxes between subscriptions on their FAQ page but it s false advertising as it adds postage on for me for an extra box When I asked I was told it was only LibPro members that get this - which is not what the FAQ page says I ll not likely place extra orders now just because the way they promoted it was so misleading

Customer service hello

Well i do enjoy their boxes and have been their customer for long time but i have got issues with my monthly boxes and have been trying to contact customer service during two months No luck nobody answers me and i am confused at all The problem is that i have not received my April and May monthly boxes and soon is my June box payment day but i fear that i will not receive it either Hopefully someone from customer service will answer me or get back to me asap I would like to be their customer further but it depends whether i finally get some help with my problem Too disappointed right now

Used to LOVE latest in beauty but not anymore Picking items has become a chore Very little excites me and I am not at all impressed with items from Primark I am middle aged and work hard for my money and like to treat myself If I was 13 and needed to use 1 products I would go to Primark I really hope this is just a glitch and that you will return to your former glory Please listen to customers feedback

Good to dip into

I had a 12 month subscription -which because it is paid for in advance does not allow monthly pauses- and some months it was really difficult to pick anything I wanted They sometimes have interesting or high value products but they can sell out before morning time I have decided to not subscribe for now but to dip in and out if I m really interested Their collection boxes are pretty good although a lot more expensive than they used to be

Needs more competitive pricing and new products

I haven t used Latest in Beauty much recently because of the increasing cost of the boxes without the new innovative products I was also put off by the difficulty in accessing the site if there s a popular box and the difficulty in contacting customer service if there s an issue

My advent calendar went missing in

My advent calendar went missing in action and although they sent me another one it was nearly half way through advent before it got to me which was a little underwhelming Also several of the products had leaked which was disappointing although perhaps more of an issue with the courier than with LiB I ve used the company in the past and always been impressed so this has been disappointing

A plus for the boxes a minus for the subscription

I started with LiB with a Sunday Times beauty box and it was good value I went on to subscribe monthly and initially there were good choices and often full-size products introducing me to companies I did not know and have gone on to use but in the last year or so the choices have reduced significantly too often are sample size only are not good value for money and I struggle to choose I will soon stop the monthly subscription but may still consider an occasional box for myself or as a gift

I have to be honest

I have to be honest when I first joined the items we got were mostly full size and there was really good products in each box now the boxes are not as good the choice of items are mostly travel size and seem to be things that the shop can t get people to buy The last box I received there was a handful of the shredded paper and the items looked like they had just been thrown in before getting sent out It s starting to feel like you only have good products and packing if you can afford to purchase the bigger boxes but if you can only afford the 14 95 one that you can only have one of each month you get the left overs

The LIB beauty boxes are brilliant - customers service isn t

The LIB beauty boxes are brilliant They make wonderful gifts and are a real treat The standard and quality of the items is wonderful However when things go wrong for example missing or duplicated items the customer service and follow up is appalling Lots of promises but short on delivery which is hugely disappointing

Member since 2017 - use cautiously

I have been a member since 2017 The selection is not nearly so good as it used to be but there is occasional value to be had The ability to choose what you want is great but I would not want to be locked into another yearly subscription as despite the better choice then I was still left with a fair amount of products surplus to requirements or my desire More recently they have run some very suspect advertising eg saying that a Style edit offered far more value than was physically possible for a customer to achieve because they split the high value products across three drops Again today I was incentivised to write this review with an email saying FANCY WINNING YOUR MOST RECENT ORDER however small print says if I win I would only win the value of one product in the order - not the whole order Computer systems are a long-term bugbear too with frequent crashes and products disappearing from baskets on launch days so causing a lot of frustration to customers One to consider but cautiously
