Complaint - Poor Attitude of a Hotel Staff
Complaint - Leonardo Royal Hotel EdinburghI stayed in the above hotel in two sessions and booked two rooms The first session was from 15-16 April 2024 The second session was from 18-20 4 2024 When I checked in on 15 4 2024 I told the receptionist that I have stayed in the same hotel location before in 2022 The hotel s name was Jury s Inn I told her the construction site at the back gave horrible noise which caused me unrest at that time She told me the construction was still in progress but would not noisy as before She promised me she would reserve my rooms facing the front part when I returned in the second session When I returned on 18 4 2024 another lady receptionist told me that she was unable to give me rooms in the front part When I told her that was your hotel s promise then the awful lady - Kajoi the Duty Manager cut in at that time She coldly told me she could not entertain any demands from customers When I rebutted that it was not my request it was the promise from your receptionist who represented your hotel If your hotel cannot fulfil any promises why give false hopes to customers That Kajol then gave a handicapped room to me facing the front side but without my knowledge When I found the room was for handicapped persons I was very angry I m not a handicapped person why your hotel gave me such a room How can you bear such an insult and humiliation I went back to the Reception and asked them to change back any standard rooms That Kajoi just stood there without saying any apology words but with a cold facial expression What sort of this poor attitude She is neither helpful nor hospitality I swear I will never live in any Leonardo Hotel again I will also ask my friends to do the same

Where is my refund
Edit 15 07 23I did get my money back in the end I will however not give this hotel a better score because they should have refunded me on the day I canceled my reservation without my asking for my money On June 13 I booked the Leonardo Heidelberg City for 1 night June 15 with the option Stornierbar bis 18 Uhr am Anreisetag and prepaid the amount of 148 50 euro with my Paypal account On June 14 our plans changed and I had to cancel the hotel which I did in due time - I have a confirmation email from them I also have a confirmation of my payment Since then I wait for the refund of 148 50 euro I have sent them emails contacted them through the form on the website and through Paypal but they do not react I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Leonardo Hotel Inverness
This hotel looks run down on exterior you enter the reception area and looks modern and really nice Was given room 304 this room was full of stains on carpet thick dust on all hard surfaces so asked to be moved Was given keys to 2 other standard rooms and they were both dirty dated and really smelly Eventually I requested that I see a executive room which Stuart was happy for me to view On entry room 301 massive stains on carpet by bathroom thick dust and dirt on the tray that holds mugs for tea etc and the cleaner had used last guests disposable cup coaster it had tea stains I raised my concerns to Stuart who said he would pass on complaints to manager On later inspection of room there was thick black female hair in bath plughole which I had to remove I stay at leonardo hotels regularly and I have to say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in The hotel either needs a complete gutting and refurbishment of bedrooms like they have on ground floor or demolition of whole building For 1 night stay it cost almost 180 if I was not away for work and with a colleague I would have requested full refund and booked into a different hotel Please be aware that the cleaning staff do not clean rooms adequately and needs training on cleanliness and hygiene I do not recommend this hotel and will not be returning Management please get a hold on the cleanliness of the bedrooms of this hotel it is disgusting and not to leonardo standards

Leonardo hotel Galway
Leonardo hotel Galway Absolutely terrible experience the staff are unhelpful the receptionist very rude We tried to amend for the dates on the 2nd-4th of feb this year until April they pretended on the customer service line that those dates didn t exist when we have bank statements with the payment took from the Leonardo hotel they state booking com took the payment but booking com says Leonardo took the payment so we can t even get refunded and being lied to by both of them which is terrible as unable to attend due to a funeral They also have been very rude in the emails and the calls between the main reception of that hotel they offered a fake discount but it actually costs 300 euro more than what we originally paid for 400 euro so they tried to overcharge us up to 700 for two nights in April Please do not go there as u won t get any decent amended prices or dates they owe us some kind of compensation as we are going through a devastating time they are heartless and just a terrible place tbh

Don t recommend -Charlotte Place Southampton SO14
Arrived on Wednesday 7th August at the main door at around 9 30pm the fire brigade were there as one of the lifts was broken due to people twerking and it got stuck Great start after a long drive Waited around for an eternity at the main desk to check-in Very poor welcome Full of drunken people from the football Finally got upstairs to our room and the TV was broken Tried to fix it ended up getting charged for it Don t recommend

Leonardo Hotel Dublin Awful Service
This is the Leonardo Hotel in Dublin The customer service offered in this hotel is probably 0 1 above zero I am a regular user of hotels and understand the meaning of customer service this hotel was appalling the attitudes of the staff certainly leave something to be desired Never again will I stop at this place or would I ever recommend to anybody stopping here

Dreadful experience with Southampton Leonardo hotel
1 Having foolishly mistakenly booked this Leonardo Southampton rather than the Leonardo Royal down the road the manager refused to cancel the booking so my parents could stay in the Royal Leonardo with his Grandson and great-Grand-daughter why - the Leonardo group would still have received at least the same amount of money 2 the taxi-driver handed reception the footrests for my fathers wheelchair on Friday evening - they were still there unlabelled on Saturday morning and my father had not been informed his missing footrests were available 3 We tried phoning my 101 year-old father via reception 7 or 8 times on Saturday morning at no point was the phone answered by reception we even tried it again when we were standing at reception on Saturday and they still ignored it4 when we asked about the wheelchair footrests which we spotted just lying around unlabelled behind the counter and asked why they didn t answer the phone they said they were too busy5 the only helpful employee was Lewis on the Friday over the phone who did try to help get the booking changed and helped my aged parents

Birmingham hotelPotentially great location but don t be fooled by the modern decor this is not a great place to stay Breakfast staff really friendly - it s one saving grace No greeting on arrival or return to the hotel - customer service is massively lacking Decor in the hotel is nice modern - looks impressive but Don t get a room near the lifts or you ll hear them all night long Online booking is a joke - selected one option asked me to sign up to the rewards program then changed me more Car park is terrible bad lighting expensive and no reduction for staying there

Personal travellers should avoid
Leonardo Hotel Hinckley IslandCouple 3 night stayFriday 29 11 24 - check inCalled at the Triumph bar at 16 30 there was customer leaving with a pint as I walked to the bar the barman said sorry we don t open until 17 00 but continued to serve people We went to the bar opposite the Triumph bar and waited in a queue of people for over 30 mins to be served the bar people were faffing taking turns wandering between the two bars There were a lot of impatient customersNo welcome pack info in the room no mineral water or biscuits at the tea and coffee station Saturday 30 11 24The shower gel ran out Saturday morning I left a note for housekeeping Breakfast was disappointing no black pudding no hash browns hard fried eggs - We didn t realise you could order poached eggs etc as there was no menu info on the tables until the third morning We returned around 16 30 - bed made towels changed coffee cups still dirty and shower gel still empty We appreciate the Hotel was busy and oversights do happen Sunday 01 12 24We had a poor nights sleep Saturday night as there was a phone vibrating intermittently all night next door by the headboard My partner reported this to reception on the way to breakfast on Sunday as she was worried because the phone was not answered We returned at around 16 00 and asked what time the MPW grill was open to be told it doesn t open on Sundays but the Triumph Restaurant was open this was disappointing as there was no mention of this anywhere pre or post booking The room had not been serviced bed not made towels still in bath still no shower gel low on toilet roll The house keeping lady knocked on the door - asked if we wanted the room doing we declined and she gave us towels a few little tubes of shower gel and a toilet roll she did offer to make the bed empty the bins and fetch more toilet rolls if we wanted I would suggest the priority should be occupied and check in rooms first We went to the Triumph Restaurant at about 19 30 - there was a strong cannabis smell half way down the bedroom corridor At the entrance to the Triumph Restaurant there is a lectern and a sign that says Please Wait to be Seated - We were shown to our table and a few minutes later were asked if we wanted to order drinks when the drinks came we were asked if we were ready to order food and ordered A few minutes later we were asked to pay - apparently the policy had changed and there is no longer table service you now have to order at the bar and pay when you order we refused and asked to see a manager a supervisor came out and suggested we put our card in a lockbox behind the bar and gave us a fob to get our card back my partner agreed to avoid a scene He offered a 10 reduction and complimentary drinks I don t recall ever being treated so badly anywhere else embarrassingly childish This was the final straw After eating we spoke to reception to express our disappointment with the whole stay The receptionist got the duty manager to speak to us which was interesting He treated my partner differently when I returned from the toilet He apologised and asked what he could do to make things right Reception then rang our room at 22 33 to check they had the correct room number for their report The room was either too hot or too cold - I found the thermostat control on the last night on the radiator hidden by the curtain - the one by the bed on the skirting board is for the towel rail in the bathroom I think The room was not very clean with mouldy net curtains dead moth in light and dust all over the fabric walls by the bed Monday 02 12 24So pleased to be leaving I appreciate that the hotel was busy due to holiday season but there seems to be a total lack of management - the staff need motivating and managing Maybe there are not enough staff to cope with a full Hotel Conferences and Xmas parties I have stayed in a lot of Premier Inns due to work and expected better of Leonardo s Unfortunately Premier Inns have better beds better breakfast and better service and they don t host Xmas parties I lived locally for over 30 years and the Hinckley Island Hotel had a reputation which unfortunately is no longer warrantied All in all a very disappointing stay - i would advise personal travellers to avoid

Leonardo Crystal Cove - Protaras Cyprus
We stayed in Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel Spa by the Sea - Adults Only Protaras Cyprus And cannot fault it staff were some of the nicest people we have met going above and beyond to make sure we could be comfortable and have everything we wanted Short transfer from airport on time the whole trip was very relaxed Short walk from a small private beach and in the other direction some caves and a rocky area that you could swim in Food was lovely and lots of choice rooms were very clean and airy bright Hotel is relativity new
