Ok at first until you realize that the entire site is a scam in the sense that the time on the clocks is different for every player So some players are faster but most are slower Also the rules of conduct are arbitrary like on Facebook and it s rife with cheaters

No support team and the play experience is not very good the pieces keep dropping as I move my mouse and I cant click pieces despite changing the settings Have to delete account just to change username and not a very flexible site prefer Chess com even though it has ads

the site is nice well structured etc but totally unplayablesandbagger always have the upper hand with their low ELO multinicksyou cancel the games against these cheaters and you get the message temporarily blocked for 10 hours that is you have to play with the cheaters and LOSEthe honest player is temporarily blocked because it cancels the game against the cheaters multinicksthe sandbagger multinick always wins and massacres your ELO score ELO lost with sandbagger NOT IS recovery however is a GOOD site but more problems the best site CHESSCOMLICHESSCHESS24

Lichess is very good with a large variety of learning tools Nowadays cheaters have many options including browser plug-ins and can cheat even in 1-minute games Some cheaters use it either right from the beginning and some when they get in trouble position I can easily say 10 to 15 weekdays at least double at the weekends What Lichess says Cheating is only 0 02 2 in every 10 thousand Because Lichess understanding of cheating is from beginning to end every move should be 1st stockfish move They are way too much outdated for cheat detection Use their free tools for analysing Master s games and learning but don t worry about the games you play

Whenever an attempt is made to find a equal or better player for 2-3 times this site is placing the player on hold for 2 hours as if it is a big crime No sensitive player likes to play with a low rated player and win a game as it is not at all a win Also there is no provision to communicate to Lichess for telling any thing In other aspects it is fairly good Hope Lichess allows players to choose opponents according to choice

Let s compare it to chess com 1 Lichess has more detail and options to play with than chess com such as multiple 3-dimensional chess sets and sound effects if that s your kind of thing There is more customisation in the experience and neither are slacking I use both sites 2 The members and community of chess com are more helpful and there is better communication If this is your kind of thing avoid lichess 3 There s all sorts of cool buttons to play with on lichess compared to chess com which is a lot simpler and has less buttons to play with Lichess is actually more well-assorted as chess com uses the zen mode on the settings making it awkward to use while playing and more time-consuming Lichess even has a latency test to tell you your ping and server latency and compensates for the disconnection bad ping whilst chess com isn t as smart with this 4 Chess com is better for playing chess but lichess is better for analysing as they are up-to-date and have stockfish 11 whereas chess com is only stockfish 10 That version is already 1 year old Lichess has neither emojis nor chat and makes the experience diluted and confused Overall chess com is a safer bet and lichess is awkward in some situations but still a decent site overall 5 Chess com is more realistic with ratings AND better with the pre-moves game Lichess doesn t take away time for pre-moves and chess com takes away 1 second for every ten of those Lichess makes start ratings at 1500 making them easier to remember whereas it s not realistic at all Chess com doesn t fare too well either but you can choose your start rating whether it s 800 or 1800 which makes it more realistic

I like the app because it s free I like the puzzles and the different game modes However I would like the developers to add more offline features as it seems the app is pretty much unusable offline

I play chess a lot and This website offer almost everything you need When pairing there is always at least 40K people playing so you will find quick match You can analyse infinite games for free although another websites require payment to do that Support android and IOS and very easy to use I like the puzzle also you can play Infinite and try everything for free in this website What I missed here 1- When analyzing games you need to add brilliant moves feature 2- design not bad but could be better
