Excellent site where there are no ads and it free Much better than Chess com which only cares about making money and doesn t care one bit about their customers There is nothing better on chess com than Lichess in my opinion I am much happier playing on Lichess where Magnus Carlson plays when not playing an event on Chess24 Do not pay to play on Chess com I made that mistake and I regret it very much They don t like you stopping your membership and or complaining Lichess doesn t care whether you donate to them or not it s your choice but you will have a much better experience there Trust me

I use this website for playing chess games training against bots and learning the game I recommend lichess for playing online chess Every feature on lichess is free except from the patron wing badge

My favorite chess website There is no time delay compared to other slow websites where every millisecond matters The cheating is very low or even non-existent and are handled accordingly The UI is very smooth and plays well

Great open-source chess platform Extremely easy to set up an account and track your progress in different types of game setups I almost want to say it s too easy and therefore quite addictive There is no paid version so the training features are limited but the engine is very strong and the puzzles training feature is excellent

Highly recommended chess resource for free and no adverts Great for beginners learning chess and great for more experienced players who can create their own studies and to analyse games as well as checking out openings and endings Fantastic siteBest not to play random players if you cannot cope with occasionally coming across someone using a chess engine

I look at the complaints and I wonder If it is chess you want to play on a rocksolid and well designed platform this is the place to go I especially like the design of the timing That s how it should be And as I said I play chess Rated 5 min blitz against humans exclusively No chitchat Bad experiences have nothing to do with this platform but with your badly played chess That s where you have to improve Yourself as a player Things go south Nothing to do with his platform which is infinitely better than that unnecessary chess com thingy feted for all the wrong reasons You want chitchat Go somewhere else But we chessplayers who love the game should stay with Lichess
