Quality service

Only been shopping here for a few months but have been very impressed in the quality of food and prices but also the service I ve been looked after twice by a lady on the till called Ros the first time she advised me to get the app and I did and the second time she explained how it worked showing me on my phone You have a star in her she genuinely wants to help people thankyou Ros

Excellent Customer Service

Customer service call was answered within 30 seconds Carol then dealt with my query regarding an overcharged item on my receipt Within less than two mins I had received a refund via email Well done Lidl customer service and for recruiting ladies like Carol with excellent customer service skill

We recently bought a free-standing hammock from our local Lidl Sadly when we unpacked it the hooks to hang it from were missing extra feet had been included instead I called the number given on the Lidl website and spoke to Allyson who was extremely helpful She emailed me straight back with details of how to proceed I emailed back the information required which she forwarded to the supplier in Germany The supplier then contacted me very promptly directly and confirmed the missing parts were on their way to me which have since arrived I cannot fault how my complaint was handled

Steaks to Die for

Have just eaten the most amazing fillet steaks purchased from our local Ayr store Succulent tender and great value for money Would highly recommend to other fillet steak lovers Well done Lidl yet again

Great response to a faulty item

I returned a faulty electrical item which was over a year old and with the help of online services ibwas given a full refund in store and a voucher This was a great response and very much appreciated thank you Lidl

Love Lidl it is my favourite supermarket

I virtually always shop at Lidl We have two in the town where I live and they are both great The staff are really nice friendly cheerful and helpful the ones in the original store have worked there for years and in the new larger store they seem to be staying too I love how both stores use virtualy the same layout for the products which makes it much easier to find what is needed The lighting is even pretty Autism friendly for a big store and the product range is not overwhelming Thank you Lidl especially the staff

lidl AYRdue arthritic went round Ayr branch some items were difficult to reach but had an excellent young lady assistant who was excellent helping me find all items on my list HER NAME AMY credit to company

I don t know why people are complaining

I don t know why people are complaining and rating Lidl low perhaps its people with delusions of grandeur feeling that it s too good for them I shop at Edinburgh branches and not once have I ever experienced low quality low stocks lack of range or rude or unavailable staff

My 87 year old dad had an accident in

My 87 year old dad had an accident in his car at the Lidl in Chessington on Friday 7th July He was quite shaken up and the staff at the shop did a brilliant job of looking after him until I could get there They helped him re park his car safely and took him into their staff room to recover Several cups of tea bottles of water and some biscuits later he was fit to drive again after I bent his car back into shape Particular thanks to the duty manager Johanna for looking after him for me He s pretty vulnerable at the moment with his wife in a nursing home so I am so grateful
