Doesn t work for everyone

I don t feel the device has worked for me and trying it out has proven to be a very expensive experiment I followed the recommendations to the letter and almost everyday woke up in a state of carb burn The only days I didn t wake up burning carbs were on the very few days I didn t follow its recommendations I haven t lost any fat I ve had far better results doing my own thing tracking my intake and paying attention to how I feel

This company has horrible customer

This company has horrible customer service They say you get a free month included but fail to say you are AUTOMATICALLY charged the monthly fee after that They enroll you weather you want it or not BEWARE I emailed the second I was automatically charged and they refused to refund my money I never even activated the device and they were charging me

Buyer beware

Buyer beware I read this company is in serious debt and close to bankruptcy I thought this device measured my metabolism like I had done with a device at a bariatric center It does not This device is very expensive and seems to only tell you is you are burning carbs Urine strips do that very economically I tried to return it for a refund after using it just a few times Since it was after 30days they refused a refund Buyer beware Very expensive not very helpful and customer service is horrible

Nope Don t Do It

While I love the idea of this and the unit itself works fineBut Buyer Beware The company is a subscription service full of lies They say one thing on their website but then say another once you buy it I d never recommend this to anyone

Keep your money

Quick response times poor customer service Lack of empathy compassion and refunds do not exist Although product is a cute tech wannabe piece it holds little value and results were not there Save your money and do not prebiy membership Company simply cancels it and keeps all your money They won t reactivate it either once cancelled

Fraudulent Charging of Card to Closed Account

A few weeks ago I placed an order and within minutes cancelled it as I changed my mind It took an act of congress to get them to refund my account and assured me that my account was closed Only a couple weeks later they charged my account again This was not authorized as my account was closed but here they go and charge my card anyway Watch out folks This company is charge happy and make sure you document everything and report them to the credit card division for unauthorized use of credit card and possible fraud activity

Terrible customer service

I had heard great things about Lumen and so I made the investment and purchased one It came in 2 days and I was thrilled When I opened it it didn t charge didn t work and it took me threatening to write a bad review to get anyone from Support to respond The person who finally responded to me had me try all kinds of things to get it to charge change the chord change the block I was using change the outlet use my computer First off if you aren t going to send me the equipment to charge my 300 product correctly that is a problem After troubleshooting for a day and a half back and forth back and forth they tell me they will have to replace it They send me a tracking number and after 3 days nothing has changed on the tracking The label is still just created and it is still sitting in Hong Kong I don t understand how I get my original Lumen in 2 days and then a replacement Lumen after a terrible experience is still sitting in Hong Kong 3 days later I was so excited to use the product and now I am just frustrated So much for great customer service

I already did a review and since then I decided that this was not the tool for me I got the information to send the devices back on my die and did so I received them back many months later and at a great cost to me saying return to sender no such address I felt like I was scamed and out a lot of money I was not going to send it out again very frustrated at the whole experience Kathy

Unfair practices - update no one reached out as stated below by lumen

I m unable to use the 400 lumen device without paying for their app which is terrible so I cancelled I remembered reading that I could still use the device without the membership but now the website says that if you purchase the device after July 2023 you can use it without the app I purchased June 2023 How fair is that for a company to only offer their new customers this option Will the date change again so that the newer customers can t use it either unless they purchase after Dec 2023 Then again in three months This makes zero sense why all customers can t use the device that they paid for
