I purchased a DHU750 hedge trimmer
I purchased a DHU750 hedge trimmer which is sold for domestic and commercial use this tool was purchased for domestic use and at the most a dozen times for approximately one hour I failed to read the warranty which was one year and three years if registered however having failed after the one year and quoted 182 to repair with only 90 days warranty it doesn t seem theirs any confidence in their product Probably better value for money at supermarket own brands

Purchased a Makita Jigsaw model 4329
Purchased a Makita Jigsaw model 4329 from Screwfix and then found that it had a missing guide but apparently you have to purchase that separately omg It would be like buying a car only to find it doesn t come with the steering wheel or something like that So I emailed Makita to ask them why they don t supply the guide as well and they haven t even bothered to answer me back I m sorry but I would have thought company like Makita I would have done their upmost to address my concerns but instead they have ignored me entirely not good at all So in future I will avoid purchasing their tools since you never know if you re going to get all the hardware and as for their customer service well that seems non existent absolutely disgusting in my opinion

Bought a backpack leaf blower eb5300th just over 3 years ago Now on my 5th carburettor at 60 each Customer service dragged their heals until the warranty was up with excuse after excuse Obviously there is a design flaw somewhere and I the customer is left with a piece of junk Seriously buy another brand there are plenty of options Spend a bit more money and get something better

I have purchased 6x makita18v 6ah batteries all have failed they just flash and won t charge Makita know they have a problem but still continue to sell them

Makita mowers are superb
After using drills as an engineer I made up my mind to have a Makita Lawnmower 38 inch cut with 2 x18 volt batteries The mower cuts the grass quickly and really wellTo be honest it is the best Lawn Mower that I have ever owned and I have been told it s easy to get spare cutter blades if required Makita tools and equipment is the most reliable equipment in the world Thanks for great equipment Roger Thomas
