My experience with Mathew James Removals was just fantastic from start to finish From the moment that I first made an initial enquiry to delivery a couple of weeks later This was an additional shipment for me as my items exceeded the weight limit of the other removals firm that I had used who incidentally were just beyond awful My move was from London to Portugal and was seamless I was kept in touch by MJR all the way through the process and actually arrived sooner than expected to help me make a flight that I had to take If you are looking for a thoroughly professional service by a company that uses its own personnel and vehicles from start to finish then look no further

Life savers

To say a moving company saved you sounds crazy but they did I got dropped by my other moving company on the same day as they were supposed to collect I called Matthew James desperate for a same day pick up for an international transfer They made it happen within a few hours they were so professional kind and efficient I could not recommend them more I won t waste time with any other company after this A special thanks to Max Nikolay Marius Jamie Adam

Brilliant helpful and friendly staff

From the start the staff were so helpful and friendly and carefully guided me through the process Raj in particular was so supportive plus the office staff the boys who packed my furniture and two lovely men who delivered my belongings My furniture was so well wrapped and I was given so many boxes and packaging to wrap my household goods and clothing The final price was very good I will certainly recommend Matthew James a very professional company

The Removers were very polite delightfully cheerful and completely respectful We have moved several times during the last 40 years and can honestly say that no team of Removers could have done more to make our experience better They had an eye for detail and we have been left with a home to unpack that is all in the correct rooms spaces which will make life immensely easier as we settle in they were simply the best

It was an easy decision to go with Matthew James because they were reassuring and professional from the start Initially dealing with Max on the phone and the survey by Joe really reassured us that they had captured everything that we needed to be moved They supplied adequate boxes and materials well in advance of our completion date The removal team I cannot speak highly enough about Lloyd Ricky Alan Steve moved our home over a three day period Nothing was too much trouble for any of them they worked extremely hard all day and were so polite and friendly you couldn t wish for better Also thank you to Ann who visited twice during the process to make sure everything was ok and we were happy To anyone that is looking to move in the future I would highly recommend Matthew James Removals Thank you to the whole team that looked after our move Mr Mrs Fairbrass
