If there were 0 stars I would have picked that MetaMask is for software engineers to use if your not a software engineer with lots of crypto knowledge you will lose all your money or tokens never use this perhaps in the next 15 - 20 years MetaMask software engineers will understand product development product testing then release something that actually works for the general public

But this is still happening it s a shame when the law enforcement authorities finally think to do something about this Metamask they keep stealing and lying with the same answers they ve been writing for a couple of years People don t log into this wallet even if you it s about your life because your money effort and time will be wasted like many of us You can write to them pray to them or whatever some even committed suicide they won t listen to you because they don t care about you they just care to your hard earned money Truth and justice come when you least expect it I wouldn t want to be in their shoes when they come

Scammers

ScammersI have an account with them and I can no longer log in to it as always with a password and it was active It takes a new account or 12 words to recover that I never entered So how am I supposed to get my money Date of experience November 01 2023EditReply from MetaMask3 days agoThe password you chose is to prevent unauthorized access to the app itself Your Secret Recovery Phrase is generated on the device and given to you during the initial wallet creation process It is how you restore access to your accounts There are various prompts urging you to back up this phrase as we do not store them Us storing them is a major security risk and entirely against the ethos of web3 Not your keys not your crypto Reach out to our support team it may be possible to recover them from your devices Why are you lying I have metamask on my mozilla list and when I signed up it didn t show me any phrases it just alerted me and when I wanted those words the fields were blank So how to login to your account and get money Of course suddenly metamask doesn t work in mozilla so I had to cancel it and put it back in mozilla and it no longer works as it should

I fell in a scam And I talked to metamask about how my wallets were connected without my permits and the support kept saying it is impossible I understand how a c s know everything about technical issue Of course they don t But the way how these smarties make you look like you are the idiot Metamask is never safe to use

got browser hijacked hours after metamask install

Installed this extension as prep for future trading About 30mins after I shut down my pc I got signs of hacks happening on sessions that were active on my pc only with no 2FA on sites I don t visit much A trojan was detected in a temp folder of chrome when I got home took a full scan Took me 3 days to clear up all the hacks on those accounts but luckily wasn t affected financially

Metamask knows where it goes

Metamask knows there is an ad advertising as 1inch io but is not although it s got top first page position in searches and they have never warned anyone The choices for browsers left me with DuckDuckGo and it s the featured ad on the first page It s still there now How can a criminal site operate on a major search engine They would have to pay someone for top spot Metamask just calls it a malicious website but the effing thing is never taken down 8 grand and 12 years studying crypto cycles and right before the bull run I m ripped for it all The wallet addresses are sending the polydoge tokens from one to another breaking it up I m sure these monsters are having a great laugh Metamask may not be directly at fault by I didn t even click the transaction thing I tried to close out the page I have a warning in setting for malicious websites that was on and did nothing I wouldn t promote metamask if it was the last wallet on earth Its safety is beyond compromised to the point it s useless GTH

I am awaiting MM response to my query They are now indicating there is no e mail support for ticketed queries I am hopin g that follow ups via their ticketted system will be fruitful The following is my e mail to them today 4 June 21 You indicated that it might take up to 7 days to de with my ticket MetaMask e mail Friday 29 th May confirms We have received your support request 193186 I am following up via the support forum as MM speared to have stopped responding to e mails I had hoped that a helpful response might have been provided by today 7 days I confirm that the problem persists in the same way as reported despite several attempts at resolving it Would appreciate your input soonest as not only am I unable to view my assets but I am also not able to carry out any transactions purchases on meta Mask Therefore in limbo Thank you i will update on my experience shortly Meanwhile a 2 star rating hope to upgrade depending on MM response As of 11thjune Still waiting mm do not imo monitor reviews on their product

No Customer Service Response for a Major Issue

I had to restore my MetaMask wallet and when I logged back into my account I saw that my wallet address was the same and my Ethereum coins were in the wallet but the other asset that I swapped into was not showing in my wallet and all the history was gone I do see the transaction of the swap on Etherscan but it does me no good if MetaMask support will not respond to my support ticket It s been 10 days so they have plenty of time to respond to me My recommendation is that NO ONE SHOULD USE MetaMask since their internal company policies or practices show that they really don t care about the individuals using their service I would have given them 0 stars if that was possible because one stare shows some effort on there end MetaMask has put no effort into helping resolve the issue It took a bad review of one start to get an email with instructions with how to proceed after 10 days I got a response I will now give customer support two stars a simple email response should be less then 24 hours

The problem is that the withdrawal

The problem is that the withdrawal takes forever I still haven t received my ether back and it s taking more than a day Other exchanges do not have this issue
