I was very happy with the deal we received that Scott from Mike Pero mortgages Nelson brokered Scott seemed to ensure that we received the best deal available based on our specific needs worked through any issues with good communication and timely replies Overall we were happy with Scott and would definitely recommend Scott from Mike Pero to anyone in future who might be looking for a mortgage broker service

Generally very happy especially with the outcome Always room for improvement Process seemed to be very slow and information given to third parties wasn t correct resulting in things not being actioned in a timely manner It was probably 6 to 8 weeks from first contact so date is indicative only But we got there in the end Thank you

Lower cash Outflow Consolidated Providers

I got what I wanted which was a lower cash outflow using a consolidated loan approach My loan management is easier because Dave helped me roll up several different loan providers into one loan provider The wrap up gift of chocolates is a nice thing to do at the end Just leaves a nice memory The only challenge I faced was the first time I met with Westpac my new provider they spent 2 hours trying to sell me Insurance I already had in place Superannuation Income Protection Home and Contents Life Insurance These things can be asked in the Mortgage Brokers initial assessment and then this process can be eliminated maybe it was and I forgot

Smooth FHB journey thanks to Dave

Overall we had a very smooth first home buying journey which is largely thanks to working alongside Dave There were a couple of delays during the process due to messages being a bit lost amongst the sea of communication but with the amount of back and forth that was understandable and it never caused any major issues Apart from this minor inconvenience the experience we had working with Dave was seamless even with Dave having to travel to the UK in the midst of it all He continued to work from abroad to ensure we had no setbacks At the end of it all we landed a perfect first home so we have no complaints at all and have already recommended his services to friends and will continue to do so

Fabulous support and service

It was a stressful time for me and Dave showed he had the knowledge and confidence to meet my needs He provided assurance and genuine care for me as a client and eased the stress of the process He was always available for questions and clarification and took the time to explain anything I wasn t sure about I ve rated four stars however because his admin support let him down sending incorrect information or forgetting to send it at all

We had a great experience with Mike Pero when selling my grandmother s place Chris Spence went the extra mile when getting the house ready which made the experience less stressful for my mother which I am grateful for We then asked Chris to sell our house and again exceeded our expectations Chris put us onto Supreet who was able to find a suitable mortgage rate with the timeframes needed Supreet made sure all the boxes were ticked when needed and although sometimes we were not able to contact him he still completed the tasks we asked of him
