Would cost me more and not resolve anything

They would only choose certain ones of my credit to help but it would cost me more and not help me at all with fixing my creditIt would clean my bank account but not my credit report

Left me hanging

I received the information regarding my account being transferred from CareOne and felt that everything would be fine Following that I was given very little information as to whether my money had been distributed I was at the last payment for two of my accounts and very close to paying off a third The final payment to my last account was not paid and in fact was late I was able to pay late without incurring a penalty however your company would have been at fault if a penalty had been charged I keep getting statements stating that two accounts have no balance--but they are accounts that I didn t even have on the repayment plan I m happy that CareOne was there but your company needs to improve communication

Lack of communication

I email my counselor and do not receive a reply Also one of my creditors sold my acct to a collection agency and MMI never let me know nor replied to me when I attached letter to them from collection agency I m deeply disappointed

Direct Deposit

The direct deposit was taken out from my account two weeks later I have my creditors calling me saying Why I haven t paid but the company never disbursed my money to the creditors until I called and talk to them Last they had realized it was their mistake

paying twice

I signed up with you to consolidate my two credit cards You take out 443 each month for those two credit cards I got a bill from my Visa card saying I owe them 423 61 Now I m worried if you are a scam or not I ve seen the monies being taken out of my bank account and now I get a big bill for overdue amounts on paying my Visa bill I hope I don t also get one for my Master Card too while still paying you
C

Not honest about what happens to credit score

I was told my credit score would only go down at the most 100 points Instead it went all the way to the bottom Now it could be difficult to get a job or a car etc If I had known this I wouldn t have used MMI I had had really good credit before I think they need to be more honest about what will happen to your credit

I signed up in hopes of not having

I signed up in hopes of not having accounts get charged off but it happened anyway I was also under the impression that they would work with companies and make sure that payments were getting processed I still ended up getting my credit negatively affected further and my payments garnished Once you sign up you re on your own to still figure everything out and work with companies as you did before so its not really saving much of anything time or money

My Credit Card company passed me over to MMI without warning

I was passed over to MMI through my credit card company after I called them about my interest rate and was passed through about four different departments I ended up with Carol with MMI and did not get a clear picture from her what MMI was until 3 4 of the way through the call - all I understood was that she was a nonprofit that was affiliated with Chase Bank I listened patiently to her read off a script about the credit check and other protocols I answered lots of demographic information Toward the end she asked me a lot of questions about my monthly expenditures If the answer wasn t understood I would receive the question again like I was speaking to a recording The conversation became tense and it felt very scammy I see a lot of positive reviews here which are encouraging but I had a terrible first phone call
