My opinion of Money Management International was initially one of skepticism Having worked with them a bit more in depth however I think they are professionals who do exactly what they agree to in the aforesigned stipulated agreement This is very important in today s debt management industry because having control over outstanding overwhelming expenses is vital to healthier financial freedom

I thought the person who initated setup of our account was to be my Acct Manager Although I can call her anytime with a question in most cases we are referred to an account team I would prefer to build a relationship 1 person who gets to know my circumstances Also would like to have an option to walk into a local office for eye to eye instead of phone internet contact

Not As Helpful After Signup
I signed up over a year ago and at first was very excited and relieved to have someone to help Over time however I feel a bit neglected I have been trying to set up a call to go over my account and see where I am No luck I just keep getting canned responses It would be nice to have a company that focused on current clients as well as new ones I will not knock the company as they did set up agreements but I have not been able to rely on MMI s help when a creditor is no longer holding up to that agreement Most people can probably do this themselves if they just put in the work

Tough start
I started this program in September My credit score has plummeted From what I am told by my creditors it will take 3 months of consistent payments from mmi until my credit cards are considered paid on time For now I am being turned into credit bureau agencies for delinquency You must have plenty of time to go between calling your creditors and mmi to solve all the issues in the beginning Everyone at mmi have been helpful So I guess it s just the process that I give 3 stars I m just thinking in the back of my head hopefully it will all resolve soon and I will be debt free in the next few years

Late fee
First of all for the month of September with Capital One my payment got in late and I was charged late fee which I didn t like that What I want is to finish paying so I can close that account but with late fees I will never finish If this continues I will have to go another route

Think well before entering
Excellent program pro all of debt can be managed as one payment con many past due accounts will continue to be past due and delinquent until paid in full and all credit accounts must be closed to participate Biggest con many if not most creditors see any debt management program as bad as a bankruptcy and your credit score will reflect this fact

We joined MMi a year ago The balance still seen at 18K Looking at all of our credit card statements we paid over 2000 00 in interest for 2019 Looking at all the finance charge rates it seems MMI should have the power to have the rates lowered We have two Discover cards and two different Interest rates The balance is not going down as fast as we d like If MMI could review and have the Interest rates lowered more The last year has been taxing to us with major medical issues Discover example payment per month 92 00 Interest charge 28 99 Per statement minimum payment of 113 will take 10 years I am frustrated and just asking for advice

Would like better customer service
So far my experience has been great They have been helpful in providing me with a service to consolidate my debt and pay it off all in one place Recently I made my final deposit that was a really big pay off to be done with making payments once and for all Its been one week since then I haven t received any updates and my account details have not adjusted

An app needs to be made it s very inconvenient having to sign in from a browser Company is pretty good just needs to play catch up with an app
