I had Clear Lens Extraction privately on Harley St Advanced Vision Care and suffered a detached retina It was only due to the wonderful team at Moorfields who saved my sight in my right eye Thank you Moorfields and shame on you Advanced Vision Care

Well done and thank you Moorfields Eye Hospital
I had to visit Moorfields Eye Hospital this week for tests I arrived 15 mins before my appointment time to find a long queue outside and it started raining The volunteers marshalling the queue were extremely efficient and helpful They checked appointment times and I entered the hospital approx 7 mins before my appointment time I was greeted by more volunteers staff who sanitised my hands and issued a mask I had actually brought my own but had to use the hospital mask I was guided to the clinic reception desk and reported in I was told that I would be there for about two hours due to the number tests I needed Two and a quarter hours later I left having been dealt with extremely pleasantly and efficiently I cannot fault the staff or volunteers They did a Marvelous job under difficult circumstances which involved a lot of patients Full marks Moorfields and keep up the good work

This is a review about Moorfields NHS
This is a review about Moorfields NHS It seems this section is muddled up with private and NHS reviews which is a shame The main aim in life for Moorfields NHS is to keep patients away That way they can meet all their targets After all those pesky patients just get in the way of nicely ticked boxes These atrocious people will not see you unless you are practically blind There is no walk-in service and no-one in the main A E can do much for eyes without all the equipment that the NHS has purchased for Moorfields To get use of that equipment and an ophthalmologist you have to get a referral from either your GP or a local accredited optician My GP said he couldn t write a referral as Moorfields would not accept it So off I went to see a local accredited optician Who said there wasn t anything wrong Another accredited optician agreed there was a problem but that nothing could be done about it Finally I diagnosed myself went back to the second optician who agreed I was right and then I finally got the GP to refer me That all took six weeks only because I was persistent during which time it was very possible for my condition to have significantly deteriorated Moorfields NHS are totally the worst The care of patients with eye problems in my local area has really deteriorated since the NHS started awarding this private practice contracts all around the country The NHS ought to be ashamed of themselves

So called Moorfield eye department o St George s Hospital f
So called Moorfield eye department of St George s Hospital my daughter is 6 years she s been under the Moorfield department of St George s hospital since she was three months old since the pandemic everything has just gone down here I ve never had to complain about St George s Hospital as I gave birth to two of my daughters I gave birth recently to my second child and I didn t want to complain but I ve got no choice now because it s gone over quite a few times my daughter is under the eye department it keeps weird booking and unbroking appointments she does have a eye condition she has a condition called collarbone and it does affect the rest of the parts of the body is important she has regular checkups because that s who she s under she had appointment book for August this summer and they cancelled and that was in the summer holidays then I rear booked another appointment for the 12th of September in school time at 9 a m found me up to council it for the second time absolutely disgusted fat they keep rebooking and booking and they re doing it around school time I m having to take her out of school time when they re making these appointments as well it s absolutely disgusting there seems to be a lot of unqualified doctors I was given the number for the complaints team when I phoned up the complaints team they never seems to be anyone at the desk I don t know what is going on with this hospital but is a hospital that seems to be going down a bit especially in the children s department of the Moorfield department

This review is on Moorfields St Georges
This review is on Moorfields St Georges Hospital not other addresses I had injured my eye and had got floaters and flashes and went to Moorfields St Georges My partner had gone there months before with serious problems and had been seen immediately However on my arrival first I was questioned why I chose St Georges Having explained what happened I was then refused an examination and told to leave and get a GP referral Can you image getting run over and the ambulance crew telling you you had to get your GP to refer you first before going to A E Unbelievable We will never go back to this branch of Moorfields again which I guess was their intention
