Lady 91 years old no mobility ordered chair months ago got it It broke after few weeks 3 n half weeks to come look at it Handset broken but was to get new chair was going to take another 3 weeks in the mean time the lady sitting on her commode and sleeping in uncomfortable bed Gave company her keysafe number Oops on day of delivery they put wrong code in Another 2 weeks to wait now can t cancel as warrant passed due to their time lines and errors shocking service wouldn t recommend this company to anyone Will have to now buy her new chair so more expense for her Adding again the delivery drivers put in wrong code I gave correct code They didn t think to phone office to check what code was just left

2 recliner chairs were ordered and

2 recliner chairs were ordered and delivered quickly However on making them up the base did not fit on to the chair It took me around a couple of hours to try and work it out as it was clear that it wouldn t fit The next day I phoned and asked for help i was told to get a hammer and hit the bit of the chair base to remove it That worked then discovered there were other bits missing so asked to return them as I was thoroughly fed up by this time They were collected the next day and I was assured that the refund would be with me the next day I am still waiting and that was2weeks ago I phoned as I had not received refund notice to be told that something had happened but he would sort it out there and then I have nothing to sit on and no money returned so I cant buy another 2 Shockingly bad customer service and im still waiting

Bought swivel chair 18 months ago seat of chair is already worn and cracked with base material showing through customer service offered 10 of new chair as it s been discontinued I wonder why So they want me to waste my money buying another one of there chairs

Delivery was from 3-6pm

Delivery was from 3-6pm I waited at my friend s house who was in hospital until 7 30pm to no avail Went back home on 3 buses and at 10pm that night the delivery guy phoned and said he could be there in 20 mins if I could get back He said it would be delivered the next day Saturday so I went round again still nothing arrived and no phone call to apologise I was livid and phoned the delivery company Monday morning and asked as a gesture of goodwill considering I d been messed about so much could they put the chair together for me free of charge which they did

The advert from Morris Living was The Denver Swivel Recliner Chair Footstool - Genuine Leather - Earth 1 499 99 for 499 00 i expected all leather When it arrived it was Leather Match no where in the advertising is this mentioned Morris Living are happy to fully explained on the phone about the chair being genuine leather on the contact parts as per industry standards This is where the con starts you either put up with a sub standard item or they charge you 25 00 to send it back Other websites clearly state it is Leather or Leather Match

My wife sat in it for about an hour motor broke insisted in repairing a brand new chair that had a fault with it nothing said about the other three motors Also was informed that the units might not have been built correctly remote controls opposite to each otherNot a very good start doubt if the material as stated was 100 leather definitely out and bonded

Chair arrived in very damaged box which was soaking wet on the bottom The box had two rectangular holes in the side which I would guess had been caused by a forklift The chair itself was damp and all the nuts and bolts had fallen out of the cardboard plastic damp packaging Most were still in the main box but some had been lost completely The box was delivered upside-down because the bottom was soggy Check delivery driver s photo I wouldn t order again Chair replaced with similar from different company and original disposed of I do not want recon pence

93 yr old mothers chair packed up within a year and we were directed to some half bit rude insurance co Waited a week for a fitter who went off mumbling about ordering a part which took a week now waiting another week for it to be fitted No help or interest from Morris whatsoever Disgusting service and product unfit for purpose Never deal with this mob again

Delivery did not arrive but company won t refund

Was told I d get a delivery time the day before just got a text saying PMTook day off as only found out night before delivery day that it was PMDelivery did not arrive Rang next day and rebooked delivery Was told on phone slot 2-4pm Night before got text saying PM Took- AGAIN This time on the day I received an email saying van broken down delivery cancelled- this is my second day of annual leave wasted Contacted Morris to say forget it please refund my money Got an email back saying seeing as we REFUSED DELIVERY They would not refund our money and we had to accept another delivery date I have requested the courier evidence that I refused delivery- as I have a ring doorbell and cctv and did not have any delivery attempts that day So far no response but also no refund I cannot purchase a replacement chair until I receive the refund so I will be taking this matter up with my credit card company Amazon and Trading standards You have tried to contact me to rearrange yet another delivery and I do not want another 3rd day of my life wasted waiting for something that may or may not arrive You have been asked for a full refund and have mentioned in your message that I will not receive one because your courier said they attempted to deliver but we refused As I ve told you this is not true and your issue is with your courier company not me the customer I want my money back all of it so I can buy a recliner chair for my 90 year old disabled mother

Delivery service abysmal

Morris Living need to employ a better courier service Couriers are given the product you purchased yet they dont deliver in a timely fashion or if at all They Do Not respond to any communication either from Morris living or myself No choice left other than to cancel Be wary if you want your item in the allocated time it might not appear
