Great contact at the beginning Promised free delivery within 3 weeks Didn t arrive Asked on 2 occasions where the chair was both times told that the courier had it On the 3rd occasion asked for a refund - told that the courier would be contacted again and would get back to us within the day No contact Following day order cancelled and credit requested Refunded in couple of days Two days later courier rang and left a message to say the chair was available for delivery We didn t return the call

There was no description of the weight that the chair could hold When l spoke to the customer services the order was cancelled The customer services were as helpful as they could be They agreed the refund and will pass the issue on to the appropriate department

Waiting with great anticipation we had
Waiting with great anticipation we had the wrong chair delivered We ordered a leather chair a fabric one arrived and when we telephoned Morris Living the chair we ordered and at the price we paid was not available We were able to negotiate a discount on an alternative chair and not the colour we had chosen and did have to pay an extra amount Although disappointing the gentleman who dealt with us was helpful We wait in hope that a suitable alternative arrives this week

Chair ok service poor
Although the chair itself was good I had several issues 1 The couriers arranged a date for delivery 2 weeks ahead I arranged a day off so that I could be with my parents who have dementia for the delivery They then text me the night before the delivery was due with confirmation for a day later Not good as I now could not be there I contacted Morris living who informed me that the original date was a mistake and that I wasn t the only customer affected This really wasn t of any help to me I paid for delivery and assembly of the chair the drivers arrived around 3 hours before the time slot stated and placed the chair in the middle of the living room floor in the box and were then going to leave my Mum had to tell them it needed unpacking I didn t contact Morris because most likely I wasn t the only customer affected 3 The remote to the chair is the cheapest available I know this from researching online There are no diagrams on the remote and no logic to the arrows that are all over the place and quite how you lift the leg rest section by pushing a down button and well even with a medical degree it took me some time to work it out how older people are meant to understand is beyond me A little thought would have gone a long way when selecting handsets but Im guessing budget got in the way of common sense The chair itself is very comfortable but I really would not purchase from Morris Living again IN RESPONSE TO REPLY As a retailer it is you that is responsible for the items and service you supply Passing the buck is easier than facing up to your responsibility The remote really is not fit for purpose You sold it The delivery was not as promised You chose it and didn t respond helpfully when I contacted you with the dilemma that it left me with Like I said chair ok customer service not so much

Very low chair stool and chair has very little padding had to buy foam square for it very disappointed

The Product Hereford Chair is great but the delivery service was abysmal first attempt vehicle broke down second attempt never arrived third attempt 1 week later finally arrived

Not For Everyone
I m disabled and decided to purchase a riser recliner to make life easier I chose a Winchester and paid for delivery and setting up and the removal regretfully of my old chair The men duly arrived and were very efficient I sat in the chair and despite the seat being a bit hard I thought a cushion would solve that I tried again later on getting used to the controls and realised that a cushion didn t work The back was hard as well Not good for my old spine fractures I tried again the next morning and couldn t get out of the chair fast enough I asked two friends to try it out and both said that it was very uncomfortable I had made a big mistake and rang Morrison I asked for the chair to be collected and my old one to be returned Oh no it was in the skip and couldn t be returned That was the policy and it couldn t change I was close to tears Why the rush Don t people ever ask for the return of their chairs So now I m stuck No comfortable chair and one I can t use Thanks

Good product stressful and poor delivery process
The order process was easy and the product is good but the delivery process was stressful and left a sour taste in the mouth The initial suggested delivery date wasn t possible due to a clash with my mum s hospital appointment I called the delivery firm multiple times to rearrange and was told a rejected slot means we go to the back of the queue Repeated calls and being cut off after axactly 15 minutes of holding every time finally established Monday as the delivery day and I was told we d get a text message with a time slot the day before That only arrived on Sunday at 6pm and was told it was 7-10am which isn t good for an elderly disabled woman living alone But couldn t call them as their customer services dont open until 10am on Monday As it was they turned up at 6 45 We had to hightail it down to my mum s and they said they thought it was seven o clock already The carpet is now covered in mud off their shoes and the room stinks of sweat I accept that being a delivery isn t fun and there s a lot of pressure to get to various jobs But this is a chair for a disabled elderly person and they re from a supposedly specialist delivery firm They need to not treat a delivery for a 96 year old woman waiting for a specialist chair like they would a 20 year old waiting for a microwave oven
