I do not like writing negative reviews because I appreciate that in the best companies things do go wrong - but in this case I don t feel the errors were well handled I ordered a fabric recliner chair in late March and delivery was promised within a few days The delivery men brought the chair in but it was the wrong one it was leather instead of fabric Morris redelivered quickly which was great but again they brought a leather chair I phoned and complained and was promised the correct chair within the near future Sure enough a few days later I waited in for the third time and the delivery men turned up - with a leather chair Morris put all the blame on the delivery people but of course Morris were responsible for making sure their customer me received their order I cancelled the order at this point because I don t actually think they had the fabric chair I wanted in stock If they had where was it To their credit someone at Morris did answer the phone when I rang and they did refund my money quickly I cannot comment on the chair because sadly we never received it Pity because it looked perfect for us

A delivery of 3 halves
The first delivery was cancelled due to the delivery van breaking down The second delivery was reported to have happened but there was no delivery my parents are infirm consequently they are always in and curtain twitchers - they never miss a thing going on in the road The third delivery attempt was a complete success The delivery team were exemplary setting the chair up and carefully explaining how it worked to my parents They nearly made up for the two previous poor experiences

Sorry cannot really comment properly as delivery has taken longer than the 1-2 weeks stated Very upset about this but I know that it is the courier to blame and not Morris Living Have to wait another 6 days before receiving chair

Be wary
I bought the Jupiter chair thinking that it was a fabric version of the Mars Chair it is nothing like as comfortable as the Mars the chair back is flat and has no support for your shoulders or head the head rest is fixed unlike the Mars which adjusts to support your head I think Morris Living should make customers more aware of this fault in design

Today I discovered when the guys came to collect the very uncomfortable recliner that it had arrived faulty The men didn t have the tools or the parts to fix itso asked me if I would like a replacement I just laughed and said get it out of the house I m now left with a hard plastic garden chair padded with a pillow and double duvet and a dressing table stool for my legs as I have old spinal fractures and can t sit up straight That s in addition to heart failure and hiatus hernia No doubt I will be charged for taking it back

Chaotic delivery procedure
Not phone at 6 30 am for a delivery at 7am when you delivering to a vulnerable elderly person The delivery was then rearranged by the driver for 3 30pm so I arranged for my aunt s carer to stay on to receive it This delivery was cancelled 30 minutes before it was due I asked for details of the complaints procedure and am still waiting for this

Biarritz Soft Fabric Swivel Recliner Chair Matching Footstool In Lisbon Grey Purchased this chair about 2 years ago it has hardly been used We noticed a wobble on the base and sent a picture asking if the base looked right I ve emailed other pictures asking for help We have not heard anything from the company The chair is really not worth the money and we shall certainly not be buying anymore furniture from Morris

Buying second hand Rise recliner chairs
1 of the chairs had obviously seen much more use it was very tired in operation the main cushion had also lost much of its support and sunken at the rear The chair had obviously been cleaned but not aired Once we removed from packaging it was very smelly so we had to spray it with fabric cleaner air refreshener to try and make it more pleasant The other chair was in far better condition had very little use which was obvious once trying the reclining operation was far smoother cushioning was far better and also didnt smell

Disappointing product and service Alexandria Chair
Purchased the Alexandria Chair in wheat with Footstool heat and massage for 189 99 i wasn t expecting it to be magnificent at that price but was very surprised to find the seat padding very thin and very uncomfortable Contacted support who advised it would cost me 25 to return The website clearly mentions their 45 days returns policy for change of mind but mentions nothing about a return charge Support also refused to offset the 15 00 first order discount against the return Very disappointing I won t be shopping here again If your looking for comfort don t buy this chair and shop elswhere

I can t comment on the quality of the chair as I never received it I needed it urgently and was happy with the promised 3-5 day delivery promise Dispatch was prompt then the item sat in the delivery firm s depot for more than two weeks and a delivery date was finally offered 4 weeks after the order was made I contacted the delivery company without any response I contacted Morris Living several times but was disappointed at the lack of concern urgency from their service department given my pressing need for the product I was so unhappy I cancelled the order I did receive a prompt reimbursement however
