For Your Safety Avoid this Company

I asked Mr Electric to upgrade my electrics by fitting a new consumer unit in my holiday flat The mains supply comes in from the ground feeds my own meter then runs to the holiday flat above On completion of the work the 1st visitor to the flat above received a severe electric shock The owner s electrician was called in He diagnosed a missing earth to the entire flat and called in the power distribution company The missing earth was due to severed earth cables in my own flat which were then reconnected Mr Electric s response was that they don t remember severing the earth link to the flat above my own when fitting the new consumer unit So that makes it ok then Avoid this company

Truly Awful - way too pushy

Dreadful - rude pushy and not recommended Biggest mistake I have ever made Be warned Mr Electric should be avoided at all cost Note they have also changed their name on here from Mr-Electric to MrElectric hence hiding all the previous bad reviews You can still read them here though Mine is specifically for the Bournemouth Branch

Mr Electric Chigwell carried out 3 Landlord Safety Checks on 7th April 2017 I only received the reports on 9 5 2017 the details of the property were incorrect on 2 of the reports I have had to chase them on numerous occasions to even get these reports

Mr Electric failed mike kernea

The person came out and saw one wire that had been cut and left and he said the entire Trailer had to be rewired Mr Electric put on estimate quantity 1 rewire cost 20 k and that was it He was there maybe 5 minutes Then I got a bill for 100 dollars I think and when I called Home office they said estimate is s free When I called technician he said he maid a mistake billing me the 100 dollars I said thank you and I really wondered how they do businesses this way Maybe this was just a bad experience

keen to take your money not so keen to provide simple evidence of works and reports have sent multiple enquiries via the site - nothing called x3 times on friday and each time promised someone would call me back asap but no calls last person i spoke to simply told me she didn t know how to help when asked who can help if not her she said don t know am utterly appalled and strongly urge people to go with another company

Didn t turn up

Arranged appointment for 9am- no-one turned up or was answering phone Received phone call later that morning saying that they were an electrician and had been asked to phone me Didn t seem to be aware that they had been booked to arrive at 9am Very frustrating as 3 days passed between booking and expected arrival when I could have had it sorted No oven for the last week

Shocking

Did half the job but still charged full price Took no action to try and resolve the matter and get the job finished Lacking in communication and customer service They couldn t care less other than to chase up their invoices Essentially they charged me 165 for absolutely nothing I had to commission a second electrician to do the job again costing me double and wasting a lot of everyone s time I do not recommend this company whatsoever

Matt very efficient

Matt very efficient He was a pleasure to talk to I will hire him again if he worked for another company Mr electric prices are not in line with everybody else s You overcharged and gouge your customers I had someone who come out take care of what I needed for a dedicated line and wiring in my building for around 685 I was very unlucky to have called you Worse than I agreed to pay that much money for lights to be installed These other reviews giving such glowing must be fake or these folks are very unaware of Real world pricing

Don t use this company

Don t use this companyThe was paid 2900 00 cash money The changed then light bulbs which I didn t request Placed wire knots on ac lines changed 2 light switches and secured outdoor light back to trailer They are now refusing to return my money for work not performed They just keep giving me run around

London South West let me down

Needed some equipment PAT testing for a job a few days away Explained the requirement to have the certificates before the specific date which they said they would do Certificates eventually turned up 3 days after the deadline rendering them practically useless I won t be using them again
