AI Review Summary Based on 13 reviews

Customer experiences with Myfamily-matters are sharply divided, with the majority reporting highly positive outcomes while a small minority express severe distress. Most reviews praise the company for providing excellent, professional, and caring service, particularly in handling sensitive family legal and financial matters like trusts and property deeds. Key positive aspects include the knowledge, availability, and supportive guidance from specific staff members like Graeme Stewart and Colin Robson. Many customers highlight that the service was efficient, explained clearly, and went above and beyond expectations, leading to high satisfaction. The company is frequently described as honest, reliable, and trustworthy, with reasonable and transparent costs. However, two critical reviews present a stark contrast, alleging serious failures in service and communication. One customer reports having obtained a County Court Judgement against Graeme Stewart, advising others not to deal with the company to avoid financial loss. Another distressed reviewer in their 80s states they cannot contact Graeme Stewart, who holds their vital documents, leaving them uncertain and vulnerable. This indicates a potential inconsistency in service delivery or client management. Overall, while the vast majority of clients are extremely satisfied and recommend the company, there exist significant, unresolved complaints concerning accessibility and financial trust.

We cannot praise My Family Matters enough

We cannot praise My Family Matters enough We thank them firstly for contacting us regarding the company which we thought were running our trust but who had in fact unbeknown to us ceased trading and were being investigated and secondly for actually removing this company from our Trust and arranging to have them removed from the Title Deeds of our House at Land Registry too It did take several months to have the Title Deeds changed on the House but the removal of this company from our Trust was acted on very promptly It has been a worrying time for us but throughout it all Colin Robson was always available to take a call and explain in depth the process and the progress of our application Leaving a message for a call back was exactly that never once did he forget to return a call I was e mailed by both Colin and Graham his partner in the company and at all times they explained in an easy to understand way exactly what was happening They also updated us on any information that they had of the dubious company we had taken the trust out with Their fees were very reasonable but more than that now this company are out of our lives the relief we feel is overwhelming and we thank them so very much for all they have done We are only grateful that we did not lose any savings and our hearts go out to those who did Once again we cannot recommend My Family Matters enough especially at a time when we needed to rely on someone else to help us Use this company with confidence Phone them and talk to them We did and we will be eternally grateful for all they have done to help us

Tracing relatives during Covid

We were contacted by Family Matters in 2020 when they informed us of the death of our Aunt and Uncle Due to a variety of reasons we had no contact with them for a few months particularly as a result of the Covid pandemic restrictions They researched their circumstances and estate and kept us informed regularly The conclusion was satisfactory for all parties They were very efficient and even managed to trace the final resting place of our relatives through various e mails to the Local Authority I cannot thank them enough for their work and efforts during what was a difficult time and have no hesitation in highly recommending them

Birmingham Best Contact Centre

I contacted Family Matters Enterprise centre in Highgate Birmingham after receiving particularly bad service at another contact centre I didn t know what to expect but when I called I spoke to Sabia who couldn t have been more understanding and accommodating to me After listening to me explaining that I required urgent contact centre availability in order to see my sons before the final family court hearing and the difficulties I had experienced with the previous centre cancelling my booking without consulting me Sabina advised me that she would be able to assist me She went on to carefully explain what they provided to parents like myself the way the centre was run payments and much more I can t express how relieved I was after that phone call with Sabia who while advising me in a professional manner was extremely polite understanding and reassuring I explained that my sons had expressed a desire to go Go Karting during our session in the community and I was assured that this would not be a problem a member of staff would be available to accompany us I cannot praise and recommend this contact centre enough The management and staff go above and beyond to ensure the parent child contact takes place as smoothly as possible during what could be described as a difficult and emotional time for parents children alike This place is a perfect example of how parent child contact centres should be managed
