We have had our Nectar mattress for 1 month now and it s proving difficult to get used to especially for my wife Our hybrid mattress is very firm it s a little like I imagine lying on a snooker table would feel and we have purchased a quality mattress topper in an attempt to soften the feel Sadly it hasn t had the desired effect so it s likely it will be returned

I cannot fault the mattress which I think is fantastic What I am disappointed about is the Ottoman bed that I purchased at the same time described as The Nectar Ottoman it seemed like a Nectar branded product Upon arrival the instructions made clear it is a generic bed base the same bed can be found in Debenhams and Dunelm some 180 cheaper Moral of the story - Nectar are good for mattresses but I would not trust them for other items that their website alludes you to believe are unique to them

Positives fits perfectly is comfortable and supportiveNegatives not as firm as I had hoped has a bad smell that is taking weeks to get rid of

We are on our second nectar mattress in just over 2-1 2 years First mattress was changed within the first year of purchase under the lifetime guarantee although I must admit this wasn t an easy task When I first reported was a problem the company sent out an jobsworth engineer who measured the dip with a piece of string and a tape measure and by pushing his hand down on it and pushing down on the wrong side at that The guy was a complete jobs worth I asked him to lie on the mattress where he would be able to actually feel that there was no support at all on one side Jobsworth seemed the mattress was fit for purpose Which meant I had to wait 6 months before another engineer would come out The second engineer laid on the mattress and agreed straight away it wasn t fit for purpose Nectar Sleep arranged for a new mattress to be delivered immediately which was fabulous and all seemed like a good deal and handled brilliantly However we got the new mattress in July 2021 and was advised to turn it regularly but unfortunately it s now very uncomfortable again and I can no longer turn the mattress as the dip on one side is so bad At the moment I am exhausted where I have not slept for about 2-3 weeks so I had to cut short turn and turn the mattress back again My husband is obviously is heavier than me although he isn t a big man only 185lb but it has sunk much deeper on his side than mine I work in a school and was determined to make the new mattress last longer than the first one so every 1 2 term 6 weeks I made sure I turned the mattress Unfortunately turning it regularly as suggested hasn t helped it at all There is a solid lump down the middle so we can t snuggle up together One side is far too sunken for me to sleep on comfortably I have now turned it back again as I am in agony with back pain and desperate for a better nights sleep I wouldn t recommend this mattress to anyone with back problem or indeed to a couple who don t weigh the same Even a poor quality priced mattress should last longer than 12-18 months I will be getting back in touch with Nectar Sleep but I can see the same issues happening again Think it is time to invest in a decent mattress In my opinion I would think twice before you purchase a nectar mattress as they are worth the money and the lifetime guarantee isn t worth the paper it s written on

Not any more comfortable than my old mattress Just nearly 1 000 out of pocket now I bought this as it was recommended for side sleepers but have found it a bit too firm for comfort

The item seems of good quality however i cannot tell if the item is helping my back as I still am adjusting to sleeping on this mattress Therefore i can only give a 3 star rating as still early days yet in getting use to mattress

Delivery goodMattress and bedding ect goodBed frame bad Ordered package costing over 1600 Bed back board turned up with missing buttons and staples showing After contacting customer services they sent me new buttons that I then had to fit onto the Bed board I had to pull out the showing staple with pliers I would recommend thr mattress but get a bed and backboard elsewhere Not worth the 800 price tag

Packaging was damaged on arrival making it look used We endeavoured to put the mattress on the frame and to be fair its looked good and TBH its a great mattress But for the money it costs you or your courier could have done better

Seems ok I feel it s uncomfortable for me but husband likes it he s very happy I m hoping it s early days

We purchased a mattress end of November but we are not happy with it Been in touch with the Company and they are sending out a mattress enhancer to try they say it will not affect my rights to my complaint but to try it first Still awaiting mattress enhancer because of holidays etc
