5 stars are due From the beginning on the airplane NEOS shows a desire for excellence excellence and not luxury They do not throw money at problems like some of the Emirati air carriers do but you feel they you feel that they give their best to to make the flight an enjoyable one while being conservative with useless expenses On the plane you access to an entertainment system accessible from your phone smart so that everyone can easily use it s phone s screen headset etc and they don t have to spend on screens that are far from the quality of a modern smartphone s screen while also avoiding all the costs related to a big infotainment system and if you fly in the morning a healthy breakfast will be served Some bread some vegetables some ham a healthy yogurt and they don t have sodas but good juices or hot beverages The feeling here as well is not trying to feed you with a mainstream thing but to try to provide a meal that is good for you while being smart about costs eg no big brand names but good products Just after the breakfast the neat screens come down from above the seat isle and show you a very relatable video of the pilot Fabrizio explaining what a pilot does how he ensures security and answering a series of questions about the life of a plane crew Cool and at the same time very professional Finally the plane is a normal plane leg room is the typical one for mid-haul flights you would like it the be larger but it is fine attendants are also professional and polite Well done NEOS best entry level new airline that I have flown in a while your careful attention toward innovation infotainment smartly prepared meals and content was appreciated as well as the feeling that things were well thought out and your team was trying to give the best experience possible for the price A couple of ideas a clearly placed USB port would be useful as you use your phone for entertainment battery becomes an issue mostly with video content a bit of extra legroom would be appreciated as well or address the issue explaining why they need to be at that distance e g if you put more space the price per ticket would be x more expensive also processes can be optimized e g the garbage collection it felt like it could have been done faster with smaller seats if someone reclines the seat in front of you the table gets really close which is not great

Had a problem but customer service was effective and helpful

I had a problem with them after buying two round trip tickets to the Maldives for over 2000 EUR and although everything finished correctly and the credit card was charged I got an error on the website and didn t get any tickets Customer Service can only be contacted by EMail during working days so I was fearing the worst but they did really well Specifically the person that took my case - Simona Lovecchio was helpful candid upfront quick to reply and really did follow through all the promises and in the end I got my tickets and I m so far a happy customer The long haul flight Rome-Maldives 9 5 hours itself was as expected Flight was on time standard seating and spacing a Boeing Dreamliner Entertainment selection was ok - this is clearly not one of the Gulf airlines but it had a reasonable set of movies and games A full meal was served once and then a snack My only complaint would be that they were very badly spaced - more than 5 hours apart snack was served almost right before landing For such a long flight the food offering should have been more substantial or frequent

Five star airline

Great airline Flew from New York to Milan on their inaugurational flight very kind staff and amazing airplane Excellent service The food was nice even though they explained that catering is mandatory to be made in US I d like to experiment their food from Italy they serve lasagna Flight was perfectly on time I can only recommend

Very nice flight

I recently travelled with Neos to Egypt and I have to say I was very surprised with the experience I had On-board staff was kind and helpful food was of a good quality and quite unexpected to be honest and most important all flights were on time As a first time user of this airline I would definitely recommend it

My wife booked me on Neos I am a long time Delta flyer Every aspect of this JFK to MXP trip was excellent In some days Il be returning home nd do a follow up review Glad we found Neos because of the costs savings the idea of miles perks becomes irrelevant

High marks for VALUE

High marks for VALUEIt seems a lot of people here gave low scores bc of taxes which isn t the airline s fault Our tix from Milan back to JFK were half the price of those on my go-to airline Delta Everything went smoothly seats were comfortable recommend the upgrade to row 5-9 for a nominal charge - extra legroom and meal was actually quite good Only complaint was the lack of A C while waiting an hour for permission to pull back from the gate Not sure how the experience would be if flight had been cancelled or severely delayed but overall very happy we made this choice
