Great expectations
I was looking for a volunteer project in Australia and I got the one I preferred Although I will start the volunteer work only in a month the proceedings up to now were prompt and helpful I got comprehensive information of what the chosen project is about and of its objectives They match perfectly with my own and I can t wait to participate

Great Barrier Reef conservation Best way to travel
What an amazing trip this experience has been The leaders Helen Timmy and Hayley were so friendly and approachable and definitely knew their stuff Having Timmy there as the cultural leader really helped build my knowledge of the Indigenous Australians more The accommodation was great and close to everything The catered food breakfast and lunch was delicious For me this was my first solo trip within Australia and it was simply the best It was reassuring to know that everyone else doing the program was there for the same reason as I was To travel yes but also help out our amazing Great Barrier Reef And I love the group we had and the connections I made I also liked how prior to the trip Helen answered every single one of my questions very promptly I am sure I will do another trip with O2E again

Wildlife rehabilitation and farm life programme
I did the wildlife rehabilitation and farm life programme at lankeys creek wildlife shelter and it was honestly incredible Caroline and Pete were such lovely and welcoming owners and made the hull experience so much better I got to help out with so much incredible wildlife from kangaroos wombats possums lots of different bird species and so much more My favourite part of the day was bottle feeding the baby junior animals that was always fun to do And playing around with the two young baby junior wombats Christopher and tintin befoe there bottle feed was so fun because they were always so playful aha We also went to loads of places with Pete every now and again From the local pub every Friday to places like waga waga Albury and wondonga So not only did I get the experience of working with animals you also got to experience the culture and the local environment aswell The best 2 weeks of my life by far

Very positive volunteer experience
Caroline Peter went out of their way to welcome volunteers and make us feel valued and included We were very hands on with the animals immediately of which there were many Dogs cats sheep cows horses wombats birds and kangaroos - it s a real farmyard with always something to keep us busy Food requests restrictions were well accommodated and there were several side excursions for trail rides camel visit pub nights etc I highly recommend the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Farm Life Project in Lankeys Creek for a positive volunteer experience Oceans2Earth was really great to connect with Tracy Cassie JD were very patient and accommodating during my 3 year wait during COVID having booked and rebooked a few times from Canada waiting for flights to open up They always communicated and answered questions through email in a prompt and professional manner I would definitely book through them again Thank you Oceans2Earth
