I was hopeful to have found an Free Open Source alternative to YouTube however once I started reading the comments on different channels videos their about page it was filled with hateful racist commentary loads of people talking about free speech spouting conspiracy theories etcI dug in deeper and the creator of Odysee believed that YouTube had too strict of a moderation policy which is not the case moderation needs to take place to ensure a platform doesn t turn into a cesspit Basically it s full of far right wingers all videos contain politically fuelled comments View the positive reviews on TrustPilot and you ll see most mention free speech It s mainly what the platform is about it seems
