Customer service is appalling
Customer service is appalling I ordered an item and had to send it back It is now 6 weeks later and i am still waiting for a refund their customer service line seems out of order and my emails get no response - complete and utter sham Low quality clothing - DO NOT waste your money

What a terrible company
What a terrible company I was sent someone elses order by mistake including their receipt displaying personal details When I contacted Penguin the advisor was most unhelpful and I was told I had to return the incorrect order at my expense Presumably somone else received my order and my recipt I still dont have the items I paid for Will certainly not be shopping with them again

50 Days and waiting no customer service
Unfortunately this company lacks any kind of customer service Having raised a non delivery query of two products on Jan 20th as of today I am still to receive any refund I have waited 50 days to receive a couple of generic emails stating that their customer service department is waiting on their head office to update them and this can take 48 hours I wouldn t mind waiting 48 hours but have now been waiting 48 days plus I m never updated as to what is going on but have to continually chase only to receive the same response Clearly they have a poor customer service department or weak head office or both Reading other reviews about them it is an obvious trend that when something goes wrong they don t know how or want to fix Such a shame as their products are actually quite good but after spending several hundreds of pounds on their brand I won t be using them again

Borderline fraudulent
What major brand doesn t have a customer service to call Really Perry Ellis Penguin Purchased items during a 40 off sale items sale and tried to use the code at checkout which did not work Used the live chat and was told they would credit me the 40 when the items shipped The items arrived not 2-10 days like the website claims but TWENTY THREE days later AND I was billed for the full amount Sent a message through the site showing pictures of my laptop with proof of the chat and discounts offered and an automated response told me I needed to go to the live chat to resolve this Now when I go to the site and click on the link to the live chat I am directed to a series of FAQ pages with no way to chat In addition the customer service they post to their PayPal receipts isn t even for this company I will NEVER order from them again EVER

Wrong order delivered to my door but company thinks that they have delivered the correct one
I ordered online a consignment of Polo T Shirts from this company and duly paid in the normal way by card Original Penguin then sent me notification that the order has been processed The next email said that its been delivered When I opened the package I was shocked to find a pair of shorts not my T-shirts but i hadn t ordered a pair of shorts I immediately called customer services and explained the situation The lady who answered my call said that she would call me back but she didn t I m now concerned that I am out of pocket and have no shorts to show for my money

Terrible response to faulty product
I received a pair of underpants as a present which when opened had large holes in the fabric Clearly a manufacturing flaw I returned them with an explanatory note and Penguin sent them straight back to me I called and it was referred to customer care who emailed me to say they could not replace them without a customer order number

I only give 1 star cause I can t give none ordered a shirt last Monday net turned up they cancelled my order and not even let me know I had to chase them still not got money back yet avoid this site worst company ever to deal with

Customer service terrible
Don t buy anything if there s a chance you want to return It s taken 2 months exactly from the day they received my item to process the refund I have sent many emails some were ignored and some were responded to days weeks later I have now only had my refund processed after telling them I ll have to take further action I have received no apology or even an email with the refund just an automatic email

They make a mistake and expect me to put it right
So I order a product they send the incorrect product totally different to the photo I contact customer services and prove its their mistake providing photos and apparently policy is that I have to return their mistake wait for refund and I can then try again and make a new order How is this in any way customer centric Surely if they have failed to execute my order then onus on them is to correct and when I have what I paid for I return the wrong item Right now as nice as they are we keep going round in circles quoting policy policy policy

Hopeless after sales service
Hopeless after sales service Item bought was defective so I contacted Customer Service and sent them photographic evidence and proof of purchase They have done nothing to resolve this despite promises and me chasing them then after 3 months they fob me off again with no apology It seems they don t care about problems after the sale
