So I thought I d give it a go My order arrived frozen which was great I ordered 6 meals and we ate them all that same week they were lovely and tasted like I had cooked them myself Very authentic home cooked meals that have not been westernised in any way Thank you

Will be ordering again

Ordered 2 stewed chicken and 2 oxtail meals on 29 7 and received them on 1 8 Starting with the communication I promptly received an email with the date of delivery On the day of delivery about 3 hours before delivery I received another email advising the meals were out for delivery The courier who turned out to be Pat Black himself was polite and courteous in the handover I was pleasantly surprised at how well packaged the meals were I normally balk at paying for postage packing and delivery but I can now appreciate why there is a 4 99 charge The meals were well protected with polystyrene foam pads around them and then placed in a strong cardboard box that was securely taped Plus the service of a friendly courier Now for the important part I purchased the meals for my Jamaican mother who is unafraid to criticise food I provide care to her but sometimes I need a rest from cooking At those times I will order a takeaway from a Caribbean shop whose food my mother likes I have noticed however that the prices are increasing and portions getting smaller so have been wanting to have other options alongside takeaways Particularly as my kitchen will be out of action for about 10 days during refurbishment in September Well my solution has been found today The portions of the oxtail meal are good my mother asked if that was one meal as she was surprised at how good a portion she had However much more importantly my mother said she would give the oxtail meal 10 out of 10 She s yet to try the stewed chicken meal but perhaps I ll leave another review when she does Would highly recommend this business and it s meals

The food tastes like its freshly cooked The portions are so generous too Put it on a large plate Lol Will definitely be ordering again I love the idea that it can be delivered anywhere in the UK

Always apprehensive when buying Jamaican food but was not disappointed Great portions convenient and very tasty Will be sharing with family and friends and looking forward to trying more of the menu
