Finally improving with Piano Pig

My passion to learn piano was rekindled last year and I spent months trying to improve randomly using YouTube Then I took a free mini course for improvisation from Piano Pig My quick progress convinced me of my need for more structured lessons and so I joined Piano pig works well because I can find lessons and tutorials that suit my intermediate knowledge Tips from Simon and other members and weekly feedback are keeping me moving forward It s an amazing value too-- less expensive and better for me than taking a traditional class Highly recommend

I really enjoy being a member of the pianopig academy I have learnt so much and there is still much more to learn Simon is adding new courses and wisdom regularly A great place where you get your questions answered whatever level you are can get feedback on your playing and are with some like-minded piano keyboard loving people Simon is a great teacher

PianoPig is a well structured online piano academy with excellent courses designed to develop you into the best piano player you can be specialising in Jazz and Neo Soul Simon Warner the head honcho is immediately a very welcoming friendly and approachable host as well as being extremely competent in his field Not only that the business side of the organisation is very well run and professional - you notice this during the joining up phase The subscription cost of joining the Academy is very reasonable in my opinion I was actually lucky to benefit from a trial period for a nominal fee

Simon is very personable and explains things really well I appreciate how in tune he is with the learning process itself He s aware of the fact that since there is a glut of information available out there it is easy to feel overwhelmed and paralyzed He helps tremendously in sifting through all that so I can focus on what matters most in my own development I also admire his commitment to making practice as efficient as possible That s huge Nothing bad to say about the man I m glad I became a paying member to gain more access to his brain His fingers aren t bad either The man can SWING

Definitely Kudos

The PP Academy site has a wealth of information clearly presented and easy to navigate I m not formally trained so I tend to learn using the monkey-see-do methodology and can find plenty of video teachings on the academy so that s good I rarely read music and am very slow at that when I do and not expecting to put energy into getting good at that skill I understand a good bit of theory however and I like hearing learning more so I like that about Simon s lessons too I m working my way thru the RoadMap right now In general my interests lean towards Blues Soul Funk and classic rock I have only limited knowledge of and interest jazz and neo-soul So in some ways the academy is great for me and other ways only marginally targeted to my interestes With that much said I wish the subscription fee was more like 15 m but of course that s just me - Hope that helps
