I wouldn t call it a Total Scam or at least not when I bought and received it in April last year That said it actually seemed to work for the first month or so quite well until these bloody pigeons simply got used to the clearly audible annoying sounds this 100 guaranteed Pigeon repelling device is producing Nowadays they simply ignore the device and go on with their usual business of be-sh tting our roof as they please We have a very similar experience as narial07 reviewed on YouTube Stop Bird Pro - Pigeon Deterrent Review As said by others - their claims are clearly false at least in the mid- to long run - the only 4 overly positive reviews on their site are clearly setup and misleading already proven by the fact that you can t add a new review yourself - nothing next generation tech about this SBP box it s a very simple SMD-IC with tiny speaker producing annoying clearly audible squeaky sounds driven by a simple AA cell Obviously a cheap 5 China-made toy pretending to be something special for 10 times the price - claimed 2 year guarantee is NOT given They simply reply with standard off-topic email or no reply at all As said by most here on Trustpilot no matter how desperate you are don t bother giving this expensive pretender a try It s NOT an effective Pigeon repellant nor a solid solution to any other bird related problem It s a scammy gimmick at most

ENG I give 2 stars just because I still haven t receive my SPB box order after 8 days of waiting ordered on February 28th and I really don t know if it works or not I m writting from Spain Just notice that they are promising 24 48 hours for delivery in its Spanish site ahuyentador-palomas es and no news about it after 192 hours waiting FR Je donne 2 toiles juste parce que je n ai toujours pas re u ma commande de bo te SPB apr s 8 jours d attente command e le 28 f vrier et je ne sais vraiment pas si cela fonctionne ou non J cris depuis l Espagne Notez juste qu ils promettent 24 48 heures pour une livraison sur son site espagnol ahuyentador-palomas es et aucune nouvelle ce sujet apr s 192 heures d attente

I ordered an SPB device before I found these reviews My heart sank but I gave it a go I had considered feeding my pests whisky soaked grain and when they were sufficiently legless loading them into the car and taking them 40 miles away and abandoning them The thought of being stopped by the police during Covid restrictions and having to explain what I was doing miles from home with a boot full of drunken pigeons didn t appeal The SPB seemed a better option My experience contrary to many is this It is far from obvious as to how to turn the device on - it needs a determined pressure on the small white tab on the back and you will hear the tone in my case up to a distance of 10ft or so My particular problem is pigeons roosting over and pooping on a small patio and me in front of a shed beneath the branches of a neighbour s large sycamore I positioned the device in a small plastic bag on the front of the shed and angled upwards slightly beneath the tree and towards the garden For three weeks plus now there have been no roosting pigeons above the patio on my side of the tree nor in the immediate garden near the shed apart from one who didn t stay long We normally observed six plus pigeons in the tree during the day and several ransacking the lawn in the morning It doesn t seem to affect other birds - in fact we have had an increase in more acceptable visitors After the first week I repositioned the device to be less visible pointing slightly away from the tree and garden - pigeons returned so it went back to its original position and pigeons went It fell once and dislodged the battery easily fixed So it is working well but the range angle of beam and direction need to be considered when positioning My only concern is that the pigeons may get used to it over time but a friend has been sufficiently impressed to acquire one Hope this helps

I was more than a little worried when reading the reviews here as we had ordered 2 in desperation to deal with pigeons on the driveway cars covered daily side drive roosting spot on neighbours house and don t mention the patio at the back Yes it took a while to receive them However once they arrived and having read the instructions positioned them drive and side opposite their roosting spot Very helpful to know from reviews to turn on by pressing white button at back as not in instructions Once on audible but faint Didn t expect too much However end of day 2 the cars are clean nothing on side drive and the pigeon roost is empty Will it last Do not know Will certainly move them around each week so that they don t get used to the monitors I was at the end of my pigeon tether and this seemed to be worth a shot Minus 1 star for wait for delivery Top stars for performance so far

We have problems with a flock of about 12 pigeons decimating the blossom on 8 large ornamental pear trees We also have a pair of them nesting in a large hedge I m so pleased that the device has stopped the flock on the pear trees it has worked so well I ve ordered a second one for my vegetable patch Unfortunately it hasn t deterred the nesting pair but I feel that is because they are sitting on eggs so are more stubborn I m hoping using two devices will be enough to move them on I do agree the on off switch isn t obvious and also when mine arrived the battery had come lose so I had to unscrew and reinstall it Perhaps these are the issues with some of the poor reviews below as we ve been happy we are down from twelve to two and a hopeful for zero soon

I can only think some of the reviewers here haven t worked out how to turn on the device I ve hung one in our wisteria which was regularly colonised by nesting pigeons who would bomb our cars en route to and from their nests Since installation there have been no pigeons Job done The relatively confined area and sound reflecting off the wall makes this an optimum location The second one we bought is admittedly less effective hung in the walnut tree over our patio where pigeons have been an equal nuisance because its range is limited and I can t get it high enough to deter the highest -roosting birds which probably simply can t hear it especially with a breeze blowing through the leaves It has nonetheless reduced the problem appreciably

Alexandra in customer service has been great from an engagement perspective And the product is working for me I ordered and then read through these reviews and felt very nervous and didn t expect much but having been daily cleaning up 30 plus piles of pigeon muck I am cleaning maybe 1 or 2 now Literally This is amazing Yes it makes a faint noise but for me it s worth it and only during the first mth of treatment I am happy to add pictures of my beautiful matted decked area and not having to soak and scrub daily for 30 mins plus is a game changer Fingers crossed it continues to work it s been a five days now Not sure why not working for others As it s so simple to install

I m giving this post 5 stars mainly for the kind and helpful response I had from the company on asking for a refund this week for the SPB box that I thought was useless as it did nothing in our garden to scare off the pigeons They asked if I had turned the device on Nope There is nowhere in the packaging or on the device saying on off or any indication you need to activate it There is a white tab at the back of the box You just need to press lightly to turn it on and press again to turn it off I immediately heard the slight hissing sound the rep who emailed me mentioned so it had been hanging in my tree for months turned off It s too early to say but three days later as I sit in the garden I can t hear any pigeons in our trees or see them cheekily wandering about like they own the place as they normally do We have a big spinny nearby where they can re locate and I can clearly hear pigeons at a distance from there but so long as they stop fouling my garden I ll be delighted Having seen all these bad reviews I wonder if people like me hadn t realised you need to turn it on Worth a try I will repost in a couple of weeks either way to say if it s successful in the long term but so far so good for me

Reading the reviews I am surprised It works very well at home after trying many solutions we had tried everything It s my neighbor who made us buy and she s satisfied with the result
