I m giving this post 5 stars mainly for the kind and helpful response I had from the company on asking for a refund this week for the SPB box that I thought was useless as it did nothing in our garden to scare off the pigeons They asked if I had turned the device on Nope There is nowhere in the packaging or on the device saying on off or any indication you need to activate it There is a white tab at the back of the box You just need to press lightly to turn it on and press again to turn it off I immediately heard the slight hissing sound the rep who emailed me mentioned so it had been hanging in my tree for months turned off It s too early to say but three days later as I sit in the garden I can t hear any pigeons in our trees or see them cheekily wandering about like they own the place as they normally do We have a big spinny nearby where they can re locate and I can clearly hear pigeons at a distance from there but so long as they stop fouling my garden I ll be delighted Having seen all these bad reviews I wonder if people like me hadn t realised you need to turn it on Worth a try I will repost in a couple of weeks either way to say if it s successful in the long term but so far so good for me

Reading the reviews I am surprised It works very well at home after trying many solutions we had tried everything It s my neighbor who made us buy and she s satisfied with the result

Well Guys like the lady below my review Angela I really wonder if any of you who say this is no good have actually turned the thing on In fairness it does not say in the instructions how you turn it on and I myself plonked it in the garden without doing so Once I realised that you turned it on at the small switch at the bottom of the back of the contraption the noise was instant Although it says it may take a couple of days to be effective instantly the pigeons who normally flock into our small paved garden have disappeared along with their filthy mess they usually cover our paved patio area in In fact the signal is so strong it has affected out broadband and I have had to retune our smart TV in the lounge next to our garden So guys please check that it is on Mine actually arrived with the battery loose which I then unscrewed the back and fitted the battery properly So if yours rattles you may have the same situation Hope this may help some of you LC

We have a 200 year old 30 meter high tree which up to 30 Pigeons like to live in and leaving droppings over my car and driveway After reading the reviews was sceptical that the Pigeon deterrent would work But since it has been setup and is hanging on my garage eve and now a light lamp I have only seen one Pigeon in two weeks Our workout matt which had upto 20 droppings on it a day has only had one in the same two weeks I would say it is 90 effective and will hang it up the tree so I get the effect higher the top of the tree is 30 meters from the device and I think that is beyond its limit Overall I am happy and will fine tune its positioning to increase the effect
