Surprisingly good

I agree with the positive comments other have made I was pleasantly surprised by the first meal I tried It looked beautiful and tasted delicious Since then I have ordered 3 a week and look forward to them Being vegan they have an unexpected quality I mean I can guess what fish pie or lamb casserole might taste like but these I have no idea It makes mealtimes really interesting Another good thing about them being vegan is not having to worry so much about food hygiene as one does when for example handling raw chicken or considering whether to keep leftovers We started ordering meal boxes so my son could sometimes cook the evening meal We aren t vegan but I tend to follow the Slimming World style of eating good home cooking with lots of vegetables We first tried the Hello Fresh boxes which are fine with clear instructions but I prefer more vegetables in a meal Then Slimming World Kitchen They are more like recipe cards with the ingredients provided Loads of veg but my son being inexperienced was taking forever to do all the prep So when Planthood popped up on Instagram I gave it a try So far so good I am happy with the level of service I agree with reviewers who say it isn t ideal when they are delivered after dinner time or on the next day But I just keep a few Cook frozen ready meals in the freezer for such emergencies so it isn t a problem These Planthood meals are worth waiting for I like a steak or a roast dinner now and then but apart from that I am quite tempted to give up cooking and use these all the time A suggested improvement could you introduce some way for each account holder to rate the meals please Say 1-5 stars and keep a record on their account Some are particularly good and I d like to have a record of those and order them if they come round again

Great recipes trying new ingredients and a convenient way to adopt a plant-based diet I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Planthood s meals each dish has introduced me to new flavours and textures and I really appreciate the variety The pre-made sauces are a game changer making each meal feel like something you d get at a high-end restaurant without the fuss Everything is carefully portioned and I ve noticed there s no food waste always a big plus It s also very eco-conscious with recyclable packaging and no printed instructions which makes it feel like a forward-thinking service All in all a brilliant option for anyone looking to eat more plant-based and without all the planning shopping or prep

Overall excellent Everything has been delicious and ingredients are really good quality It is expensive but we are going to try and budget for it as the meals are so nice We have kids and fall into a trap of eating a lot of kid food nuggets sausages etc more often than not so getting this box and swapping 3 meals a week to something more grown up has been really enjoyable

Planthood is a wonderful way to experiment with new plant-based recipes improve your gut health and increase your energy Whenever I eat their meals I can feel such a difference in my energy levels and mood I feel so much better

Just got my first box from Planthood and wow this food is next-level The ingredients are super fresh and every dish is packed with flavour Plus the recipes are so easy to make that even I can t mess them up Currently two dishes in and what an absolute flavor explosion Every bite was like the veggies threw a little dance party on my taste budsAs a vegetarian the variety here is amazing way better than other meal boxes I ve tried And so far the customer service seems to be on another level I had a delivery hiccup thanks courier but Planthood s team kept me updated every step of the way No chasing no hassle Bottom line Planthood has it all delicious food easy recipes and top-notch customer service I m hooked

Excellent for foodies with a busy schedule I love to cook but have such limited time so Planthood takes away all the faff of meal planning shopping prep but you still get to enjoy really fresh produce with a few quick and easy steps to follow in the kitchen to whip up a delicious healthy dinner after a long day The portions are also really generous Would highly recommend

Really happy to have found Planthood We are loving having meals that we wouldn t have thought of making for ourselves and have often found ourselves saying we feel like we ve just eaten food made at a high end restaurant Also loving that much less grocery shopping is now needed with 3 of our meals a week already planned and shopped for The organic ingredients are also very much appreciated
