Wrong information given

The agent sorted my email issue and told me I could pay 25 something a mth with no call out fee didn t say it was for only 3 months then goes up to 50 a month not happy

Boiler repair

It took quit a while to get through to customer service First person did not relay the information about the fault correctly the second one did Took 3 days to come out for an emergency Engineer was very good

Took me best part of an hour to get

Took me best part of an hour to get hold of an agent but once I sorted my service out was ok and the engineer was very good and helpful I m on the fence if I will stay with this company when policy runs out

Contractor never turned up 4 days in a row

The contractor assigned to unblock my house was supposed to come four days in a row Each day they never turned up even calling me on one day to say that they would be arriving in about an hour Not a fault with PlusHeat but their chosen contractor

Job no 11891 Trouble with the timer

Job no 11891Your technician attended on 24 Jan to reset timer which he did He left with the heating still operating in manual mode He explained that the next morning I could switch the boiler back on using Automatic mode I did this but almost immediately the boiler went off and I had to switch on to manual mode to re-ignite the boiler I tried the same thing on Thurs morning and exactly the same thing happened I reported this by phone and was assured that the timer was working and that your technician would contact me by phone to sort out the problem I am still waiting

booking a boiler service

Phone answered fairly promptly Agent was friendly and clearly wanted to help Unfortunately I was sent emails with several appointments for the same jobs and by different engineers It got sorted when I called back but was quite confusing Most likely a systems problem rather than the poor call handler who was do8ng his best

Variable experience

Trying to renew membership was unnecessarily difficult and took many phone calls Automatic renewal was excessively expensive Was charged a cancellation charge when I renewed Was promised a refund of this Never happened Boiler Service good Was told I had to pay a 50 charge to have a problem with drains looked at - on a zero excess policy I had a local contractor come and help me instead Never had all these problems before

Sometimes ok sometimes not Hard to cancel

I have had Plus Heat plumbing and heating cover for about 3 years The first couple of years were fine with reasonably quick response rates This year however I couldn t get someone out to look at my failed boiler in a reasonable timescale and had to go elsewhere Then when I chose not to renew my contract at renewal time it wasn t cancelled properly and I have been hounded and threatened with debt collection agencies A disappointing experience I wouldn t use them again
