Worst experience

Do not waste your time buying a differential from this company I have already had to do 2 warranty claims each immediately after install The first unit I received made a loud whining noise The second unit was very old pitted had been welded on and had a bad leak at the pinion seal I am about to do this job for the third time because they cannot send me a working differential I have been without my my truck for over a month now and it is my only vehicle My truck is a 1997 chevy k1500 silverado I originally choose powertrain products because I saw their advertising on TV but it was a bad choice The 2 defective differentials they have already sent me appear to be from Zumbrota Drivetrain Please save yourself the nightmare and go somewhere else

Bait and switch

I was very exited to purchase an engine from powertrain products because of all the tic tok videos I wrongfully assumed that they did their own rebuilds I purchased an engine from the web site which said it was an high oitput version of my engine I received a non high output generic version that I could have purchased from my local parts store Called them on phone and they actually yelled at me and said that the engine I ordered didn t even exist I am totally disappointed I thought they were an honest business with integrity I even paid extra to purchase from them

TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN

Ordered engine middle of October and paid in full at that time over 3500 Have since not heard from POWERTRAIN Sent them copy of invoice and receipt for cc payment AMEX Will be almost 3 months this time next week Would expect a status report at some point - and certainly a response to my inquiry almost 2 weeks ago providing the payment and invoice information It was my understanding that POWERTRAIN was a large reputable company
