I needed to replace the engine in my car The old engine had high mileage and needed major engine repairs I decided to replace the engine with a remanufactured engine The engine comes with a five year or one million mile warranty The remanufactured engine supplied is better than the original motor Two years newer bigger heads and more horsepower The engine swap went seamlessly everything I needed was supplied Excellent experience with powertrain products The new hemi runs perfectly and extremely smooth

Online phone sales is good Phone time delays not too terrible bad Shipping time tracking was very good Core return should be more transparent The web site core return check off list should have more detail Core returns pickups also should have more follow up As in purchased 2 heads -- list only had engine transmission rearend ect Other would be a good option Have had a core return request for 22 days now and still no idea when to expect pickup

My LQ9 experience

Overall great quality product I work at a Dealership and the motors there aren t prepped as well as my motor from power train products The only suggestion is when buying a GM product is I would have like to have known what gen motor I was getting mine was a gen 3 and I received a gen 4 and known what reluctor wheel was on the motor would be nice These where minor issues but that the only issue I had beside that amazing overall experience

I was kept up to date on the status of my order throughout the entire process My engine arrived earlier than expected and was in great shape The engine itself is a quality piece and getting installed and fired up was a breeze When I need another engine I will happily purchase another from power train products

Everyone we have dealt with was really professional and nice

True professionals

True professionals Everyone was so helpful from sales to after sales services The transmission I had built works flawlessly There was some small issues after install but the after sales support knew exactly how to handle it over the phone and even sent an aftermarket bracket at no charge to help with an issue I was having Plus this transmission was upgraded with better solenoids and sun gears and still was cheaper than any other quotes I received I will definitely use power train products again

After a month of contemplating being skeptical about ordering an engine online I finally did It was a great decision Customer service was quick to respond to all of my questions and concerns And scheduling a core pick up simple and easy I m just finishing my break in process and my 2010 GMC SIERRA is running better than before Thanks POWERTRAIN

there is not a better company to do

there is not a better company to do purchase engines and transmissions from Jill took excellent care of us after discovering this company I decided to roll the dice and right away purchased a transmission for a 2015 Chevy pick up a new 2016 5 7 hemi engine and a 5 7 engine for a 1999 Isuzu truck everything shipped to me Ilin a reasonable time and you can clearly see they do top tier remanufacturing after reading some of these reviews listed I ask that you don t fully acknowledge all of the bad ones I can tell from their descriptions that the techs installing don t fully understand what happens when you put a new engine in and may have had some bad experiences because of it example not replacing coolers and not servicing after break in periods the transmission is flawless the hemi engine flawless and the Isuzu engine is absolutely amazing you can t beat the price or warranty with any other company I m most certain before purchasing engines or transmissions from any other company I will be see if it s available with powertrain products first
