PLEASE CHOOSE A LOCAL ESTATE AGENT

If only I could leave 0 stars PLEASE CHOOSE A LOCAL ESTATE AGENT What an appalling service Massively over valued the property pestered us to list with them literally as soon and we said OK they disappeared off the face of the earth No support or communication whatsoever Made a complaint in September 2023 and they just sent their response on March 29th 2024 which is very wordy and basically saying they have done nothing wrong Shocking Will go the Property Ombudsman but fully expect to have to pay 1000 for a terrible and frankly non-existent service My husband is unable to work due to disabilities we have 3 kids and live off my wage only so to have to give a grand to Purlebricks for nothing is gut wrenching

Rubbish communication

Kayla who showed us the property was great but everything else has been pretty poor I made an offer on the property and received a call from Purplebricks the following morning I couldn t answer the call as it was Easter Sunday and I was with family We agreed via email that he would call me at 4pm He didn t I then emailed him and reminded him about the call and heard nothing back I then emailed again that evening asking for a call the following day Still nothing I texted Kayla who said she would chase it for me Still nothing 5 days later Disappointed to say the least

With hind sight i would not have used Purple bricks

With hind sight i would not have used Purple bricks as they wasted 3 months 120 on the auction site They farm everything out so I could not use my local Law firm but had to use a firm of their choice at the other end of the country pay 180 just to join Every thing is online complicated if you do not have a smart phone for ID details are not very good on computers I wish I had gone with a local estate agent

Extremely poor - might be cheap but don t use if you are serious about selling

App is full of bugs poor functionalityRelationship manager completely fails to return respond to calls or emailsminimum wait time of 10 minutes to speak to humanfail to follow client instructions

I wonder why such a fraudulent agent

I wonder why such a fraudulent agent are still in business now My partner and I paid a holding deposit filled out all sorts of information truthfully and then got an email saying that the landlord decided not to rent us the house on the grounds that the information we provided was misleading But then they say it s because the landlord is moving in herself and the property is off the market We have emailed and phoned several times to ask for specifics but they have always stonewalled We couldn t get in touch properly with Kiara Newton who was the main person in charge of the matter They just never refunded the deposit of nearly 500 pounds We decided to escalate the matter I hope no one contacts this agent This is a proper scam group no service no truth

Purplebricks never again

The property went live in March 2023 the support so bad it was laughable Eventually in September 2023 we placed the property with another agent and took a marketing break from Purplebricks The new agent had plenty of viewings an offer was made and the property sold I raised a complaint with Purplebricks regarding their level of service on the 28th September 2023 eventually receiving a reply 15 weeks later on the 4th January 2024 As I was unhappy with their response and offer of compensation my complaint was escalated on the 8th January 2024 and guess what 9 weeks later and still no response 26 weeks in total and still waiting Sadly this reflects all my dealings with this company Forget Buyer Beware I would recommend Seller Beware especially if you are using this company

Avoid using purple bricks if at all

Avoid using purple bricks if at all possible They ve done absolutely nothing to properly market my property nor keep up with the normal routine of viewings and offers for the property Despite the house now being sold they re still messaging to say that the transaction will have to be aborted complete shower of clowns

Need to re-evaluate their company training plan

Communication is appalling Did not listen to my instructions and passed on incorrect information to my buyer No-one from PB ever came to see my property before or during the sale My property was not advertised on the website for 3 months during the take-over of the company which I was not aware of The website does not always work correctly when viewers are trying to make an appointment or contact through the messages page

Such an unprofessional experience

Such an unprofessional experience They will spam call you and send you all kinds of marketing info you did not opt for When you book and confirm an appointment the agents will not show up My short experience with them has been a joke If you trust buying a property from this outfit you deserve the nightmare that is inevitably going to unfold

Unreliable

Ryan from Purple Bricks cancelled our appointment 1 hour before he was due His excuse was that his car engine broke It was on a Saturday morning and one of the first days of the year the sun came out Make of that what you will I didn t arrange a second appointment I just told him I ll use a more professional reliable estate agent
