Too late date for a view

The day I saw the listing for the house I contacted you in the morning and you made an appointment to see it almost 2 weeks later I want you to know that no company makes you wait this long Your system seems confusing to me That s nice we can place the offer yourself through the system and track it this is good But I think the general communication is very slow

Denise Glover was brilliant in generating interest and finding buyers Sue Blake post sales was brilliant in keeping me informed throughout the process However this score would have been a 1 if not for Denise and Sue I accepted an offer based on set terms which the negotiator didn t follow through delaying the process already stressfully long by another 3 weeks

Not Bad

Tried to help us to buy a property and although it didn t work out for us they were helpful and fine through the process

Better for sellers than for buyers

It s a system that seems ill suited to the Scottish market and the lack of solicitors input at offer stage feels wrong The vulnerability to be caught in a bidding war jars with the Scottish system I definitely feel offers should be made between both parties solicitors in order to maintain integrity of the process Fixed price or sealed bids with a closing date are much more palatable as a buyer

Okay but could do better

It d be so useful if PB from the moment of payment explained that throughout the selling process the customer gets allotted a different point of contact in each PB department dependent on where the selling process is at Phoning in to talk to that person isn t easy either Also it s unlikely you ll sell your house for nothing It s cost us approx 750 which is for photography and Rightmove You won t sell on Zoopla alone But this is still a lot less than 4500 that a local estate agent would charge

The online tour of my house went well the person at the other end was nice and the information I received was good only problem is I can t see my valuation I ve tried a few times and still can t get it I ve put my email address in but it says it s the wrong one

Our agent Adam was good

Our agent Adam was good gave us plenty of information However Adam thought we would be on the market by the week end everything has been done but we are not yet on the market which is a little disappointing all that said my rating could well improve once we are up and running we are aware Easter has come in the middle but how much does it take to upload photos etc

Good app pushy staff

I like the easy to use app where you can book viewings make offers and contact the sellers very easily and at any time However I did find purple bricks very pushy in regards to booking appointment with their mortgage broker and they passed my details onto a law firm who keep pestering for 60 for money laundering checks which I ve never had to pay seperately from my main solicitors before Feels like a money making scam from purple bricks and they say they won t issue memorandum of sale without doing this not pleasant at all

Did not like that valuation was done

Did not like that valuation was done without seeing the property and then valued lower than recent sales in my street

Communication needs to be improved

Communication needs to be improved urgently - not having a direct line to either the account manager or the sales negotiator is a complete failure having to waiting in a queue for 30 minutes before then being told that they are busy and they will send them a message to call us but then no call happens So frustrating
