beware fedex import duty charges

Have not yet tried the product though I am confident it will work as expected however I was shocked to receive a fedex import bill for nearly a quarter the price for the unit itself I realise being in the UK we are not part of Europe but only fedex seem to impose these charges so maybe consider another courier instead and send as a gift

It works

Was very skeptical at thr beginning but hey It certainly worked on my BMW 220i did couple of timings and there is straight away a noticeable difference 0-100 easy 1 sec faster but the real power kicks in on higher speeds Sadly i had to send my unit back due to country restriction and lack of documentation for the unit Costumer service very friendly and 30 days free return policy 4 stars because of lack of paperwork

After installing racechip s on volvo xc 90 5d i had it on setting 2 like driving a sports car saving 15 per cent on diesel iv gone to original back to factory setting 3 My god what a difference powers there practically rolling everywhereAnd be saving over 15per cent on diesel fuelIf you have a diesel with that flat spot on accelerationGo and get original racechip SThey really do work

Ford Mondeo TitaniumX 07 2 5T RS Chip Had to remove the headlight for access and the RaceChip box now lives behind my fog lamp foam mounted in a waterproof vented container Simple installation but hard to access So tried it in race mode and my gas pedal is now called the whup ass pedal well happy My average mpg went down to 16mpg from 24mpg no such thing as a free lunch So before installing I put my car into cruise control at 60mph for 50 miles of motorway and got 33mpg Repeated the experiment after installation Same day same route and with the chip set in ECO I got 41 8mpg I also had my wheel tracking done beforehand so don t know how much difference that made but so far I m well happy as even in ECO mode it s faster

Hi there I bought the GTS model for my Vauxhall insignia 2 0 cdti 160hpI have it on the highest setting 7I find it has made a difference to the car the extra torque has me driving around in sixth gear at around 36mph so I have not noticed any more higher fuel consumption I would also say that it drives a lot smoother as there s less lag whether it s faster I would say it must be but not that you would notice unless you are booting it Great support from the wholesalers if you buy direct wait for an offer to come up on the website I got 150 off the GTS model at Xmas

Recommend GTS for BMW F30 330D

I bought the GTS for my 2016 BMW 330D I haven t put it on the dyno to see if I get the claimed 54hp or 95Nms but especially in Race mode it is noticeably faster I found the chip easy to fit although I would have liked dedicated instructions for my car rather than a generic diesel I found a good You Tube video and would recommend others doing the same One thing I would like to see is a device to easily move between Eco Sport and Race which could be mounted in the cockpit I can t open the app when driving so a button-module would be cool

I bought a GTS for my R350 Mercedes My observations thus far immediately and upto day 2 on setting 6 1 Less throttle travel to gain speed 2 Noticeably more toque Car weights about 3 tonnes3 Drives like a Multitronic gearshift are almost not noticeable 4 Vehicle will cruise at nearly 40mph at just over 1000 rev and pull nicely on acceleration 5 Brisk acceleration and burst of energy from around 2 5 rev 6 Turbo lag utmost 100 eliminated 7 Rev freer almost like a petrol engine 8 Idle speed when just starting vehicle able to propel it forward to 11km h INCREDIBLE for a circa 3 tonne vehicle Jumping from my ML500 into R no longer very noticeable Diving on mapping 7 now feels like a petrol engine massive rush from 2 5k revs she flies Car blips the engine when downshifting slowing to standstill Amazing

My Fiat 500 is responsive again

I recently bought a Fiat 500 Twinair Turbo but coming from a Fiat Seicento I was missing the go-kart feel I didn t feel as connected to the road anymore in the 500 After some research I found this was due to throttle lag A delay in power you feel when pressing the gas I ve bought the Racechip RS in the hope to get more responsiveness back and at my surprise it honestly feels as kart-like as a Seicento again Just with WAY more power It s a very subtle change and I didn t expect to turn a Fiat into a Ferrari but my 500 finally feels complete again Definitely worth the upgrade for responsiveness alone

Hi folks I posted an average review for this product recently However CS contacted me to offer support My concern was the power increase was barely noticeable Since then well today actually I drove my 2012XC90 for the first time since contacting CS I m not sure what if anything they have done but I now have a much more powerful car I was quite shocked actually Thanks Race Chip support

Great value for money

I bought a RaceChip GTS for my 2017 Mini JCW I didn t actually need the extra HP as the car was already quite fast However I have always enjoyed playing with engines and installing the chip and testing it was fun I did some road tests no dyno and I don t feel big differences until map 4 as expected Starting at map 5 I hear a different rumble from the engine and quicker response especially at low to mid RPM With map 7 the car simply flies when you press the pedal but retains all its comfort even when driving at low revs I have yet to estimate mpg but the horsepower torque increase feels real I ve had a few mail exchanges with support which have been great
