I still can t register my vehicle or drive it You may get a deal but is it worth it
After dealing with RideSafely for weeks and weeks and their customer service has been nothing but lackluster I finally got a vehicle I was so excited This was going to be a second car for my family of 5 and it would really help with getting the three small kids where they need to go I paid for it in full on 3 6 23 and was able to pick it up on 3 08 23 This is where the headache really began First- after you get your vehicle you will have your title mailed You can either have it mailed via snail mail and receive it within 7 or more business days but this comes without tracking and if it gets lost it s your own issue and you have to pay for a new title I elected for it to be shipped via FedEx With this it is priority shipping with tracking and received in 3-5 business days I was happy to pay the extra 15 to get tracking and get it sooner Keep in mind I cannot register or get a license plate for this vehicle until I have the title I wrote the company on 3 13 to get a status on the title and hopefully tracking In order to keep this as impartial as possible I will share my messages and include all typos 3 13Me Hello I purchased a vehicle and paid for the title to be sent via FedEx with a tracking number and still have not received this Please advise Agent I have reviewed your account your title arrived and should be mailed during this week due to loads of titles coming in Me is this a normal time frame I thought I paid to expedite it Agent As there are a lot of titles to be mailed we send in the order of the queue The agent did write back a minute later with a second email to say we do apologize for the inconvenience Me Can I be refunded the expedited fee for this delay I would still like it to be shipped with a tracking number but I picked up this car 5 days ago and have not been able to get it registered at the DMV without the title Agent We collect the carrier fee to protect the title Insure the document in case it is lost However the auction does not mail the document out until the item is picked up and it usually takes about 2 weeks if the title is not pending If you get refunded for the carrier service the title will go out regular mail and you will be responsible for the full amount for the duplicate if it gets lost At least with Fedex they will cover up to 100 if package is lost in transit Admittedly I did not reply to this email as I was frustrated and did not want to write angrily 3 16Me Hello Just wanted to follow up and see if the title was mailed Agent Dear Customer I have reviewed your account The representative spoke to the auction your title would be getting mailed to us this week We do apologize for the inconvenience and delay Me Do you have an idea when this week Does this include weekends Agent I think that the title will be sent tomorrow till the end of the working day The representative will contact you Spoiler alert no one contacted me 3 21 This was a Tuesday when it was supposed to be mailed the previous Friday Me Do you have an update on this Agent Dear Customer we do apologize for the delay We received your title yesterday but it needs to be flipped T hat means when we received the title it has no more reassignment space By law we have to send the title to our stat so they can provide us with a new title with reassignment space to reassign to you Usually it takes 2 to 4 weeks Me Was CS planning to reach out and inform me of this After it s flipped will it be mailed immediately or will there be another waiting period Agent Just today we got the information from title department that title has to be flipped The representative had to call you but you reach out to me here that is why I gave you this information in message After the title will be flipped it will be mailed to you immediately Again sorry for inconvenience I did not write back I m beyond frustrated from talking to their customer service department It s now been 21 days since I picked up a vehicle that I can t drive I ve already put over 1500 into repairs to get this car running so that we can drive it but now we are just waiting on a title I do not expect good communication at this point To find out any information I have had to contact them first At this rate who knows when or if I will get the title If I don t what happens next Do I need to sue them as I own the vehicle but have no documentation of this I just wanted a vehicle for my family Now I have a vehicle in my driveway that can t be driven and a massive migraine from this company Be careful purchasing from this company Edit- The manager reached out to me and spent the majority of the time explaining how I was confused and was not given inaccurate information There were lots of incidents where she argued over minute details and I learned they do not record their calls

They don t care about their customers
New Update Well The car that was supposed to run and drive did neither I also paid 750 in extra fees becasue they wouldn t take credit cards The auction itself takes credit cards so hiring a broker that is supposed to make a transaction at the auction easier actually made it harder than working directly with the auction Really unhappy that i am now stuck with a car that doesn t run or drive like they said it did Old review These guys are crooks Total scammers They take your credit card for the initial bidding money but if you win they don t take credit cards anymore So they make it impossible to pay them They only allow cashier check overnighted on the very day you win or bank wire That s it no other options No checks no electronic ACH no bill pay no western union nothing that would make it easy So I won the auction and now can t pay because my bank doesn t produce cashier s checks or wire money Of course they have 100 per day fee and I still can t pay them I ve tried for days now I ve tried 3 different money apps to no avail I finally got them to accept Western Union but Western Union doesn t list them as a business do I can t use them either They said that ridesafely must have taken their business off their system Everything they have done is to take my deposit which is the real way they make money They accept credit and debit cards from 2nd buyers but not first time buyers No make it extra hard for them Well not that they care But I will fight this until the dogs come home Every regulatory agency needs to know about these crooks because I m sure they are going to take my money and worse This is hands down the lowest company I ve ever dealt with Don t make the same mistake

Fake cars
They suspended my account and deleted my winning bid because I left negative review On 07 28 2020 I left the following review Sent them multiple requests to email Waiting 3rd day for response No service at all The website filters and notifications don t work at all system is absolutely non-reliable Some non-existing vehicles are listed on the website We bid on them but they are fakes Update of 07 29 2020 As of now I have the only reply from RideSafely - which you see below They forwarded my request to the tech support Only after I continuously sent 3 requests without response during 3 consecutive days and made a public review Anyway the problem is not resolved yet The most interesting thing came next I called the customer service The customer service manager Leslie told that she deleted my winning bid right and suspended my account because I made negative review The decision was taken by her and personally by the company CEO Yury She is not going to do business with me ONLY and ONLY because of my negative review Based on that think twice before using service of this company I have a serious doubt about the fairness of other public reviews for them since they deny to do business with customers who give them bad feedback on public

Unresolved issue
I want to first say no one was rude and purchase transaction went smooth problems happened after that Item was missing a body part when it arrived still not resolved Things to improve on Fees were not spelled out before purchase Also the deposit refund or non refund was unclear Shipping communications between ride safely and the driver that ends up being used for delivery needs drastic improvement This guy had English speaking issues made communication very difficult I told ride safely and the dispatch driver that I lived on a dirt road however the driver did not understand I had to help they guy unload and direct him to get out when he left I should not have had to do anything considering the ride safely transportation they set up cost 150 more than a third party I would like to hear back from ride safely for the missing part 160 is the value of said part I would be happy to raise my review rating if I was refunded my missing part amount or a replacement was shipped to me It was in the auction picture when I bid but not on arrival Until then I can only give one star I have emailed ride safety but have not recieved a responce

Do not trust what is on their website
Do not trust what is on their website I bought a car that stated it runs and drives When going to get the car it did not run There is no way to view the car prior to purchase and no guarantee of their item on the site Copart and other auctions will allow a refund if it is not what was promised This is a scam to give you cars that do not work

Didn t let my bid go through
UPDATE TO REPLY I already purchased a trailer from RideSafety the prior year and there were no such rules that I had to contact them first for oversize items and that item was in Florida hundreds of miles from me So if you change your policy you should of advised members with an email Since there was no kind of issue on my last purchase or bidding why would I assume anything from a text box on top of the auction box I tried to bid on a vehicle that is literally 20 minutes from me so I did not contact them for an oversize vehicle because it didn t concern me and they would not let me bid So I got screwed out of my auction They were more than happy to charge a deposit on my card but not let my bid go through Lots of other services to use than them
