Bought from here about a month ago after seeing their website it looks fantastic from the websites design and the advertising so I decided to buy two candles however the process after was pretty terrible I was buying from the EU which incurs customs fees from the UK which is fine except they shipped two small candles in seperate packages meaning I had to pay more than double the expected amount in customs fees and taxes as well the website listed the value of the candles incorrectly meaning I had to pay much more that I should have - as well as having to pick up one of the packages from a depot This is incredibly unprofessional from any business to ship two packages when they should know it has extra fees attached With that matter out of the way the actual products themselves are fine but not outstanding The presentation of the boxes when recieved is pretty dissappointing just a plain brown box with the actual candle it just gave off a cheap vibe The candles themselves smell good but the jewelry itself was light and cheap unfortunately the small stones fall out - so as a gift of novelty with some 925 jewelry it doesnt match up to the price tag Its not awful but to spend a fairly premium price for a candle its quite underwhelming I complained and received the amount I paid in unnecessary customs fees as compensation but it doesnt really compensate for the whole experience as I feel the jewelry itself was disappointing and I paid quite a bit for it overall Additionally the reviews on the website are overwhelmingly 5-star for every product but on other websites such as here it has many complaints about the process and products Such a shame because I love the concept

They are too trusting of Shopify fraud detection Of course it is going to be detected as fraud to some degree when the IP address shipping address and billing details do not match Just like every gift purchase ever Who is going to fraudulently order a CANDLE They requested photo ID be sent via email and no doubt that would have resolved the issue but it is unsafe to send something like that via email This being their only option to move forward was a major red flag I found an alternative English firm squatting the Royal Essence name in google search ads won t name in case of bias but shouldn t be hard to come across2 stars because at least the refund was prompt 48 hours

It s a nice ring and got it appraised online and it said it was 132 - it feels cheap tho so I don t think I believe it the crumble smells nice though Definitely not worth 16 of my money though lmao

I love royal essence I ordered from them and it took 2 days to come however I ordered 2 candles on the 20th of feb it s the 1st of March and my candle hasn t even been dispatched but my friend ordered hers on the 23rd and got hers last week I emailed them and they just apolagised didn t tell me how long my order would be and it STILL hasn t been dispatched I ve tried to contact them on Instagram and email to no response and thinking I won t have a present for my mum for Mother s Day now

I have unfortunately been charged twice by royal essence I m still waiting for a response after contacting them Over all not partially happy at this point as that s 70 spent on ONE candle I am hoping for a response and not to be ignored as other reviews suggest they have been Has anyone else had this issue

Two stars because the candle itself does smell nice But the jewellery inside it is horrendous Both me and my friend got one myself earrings my friend a ring The jewellery looks like something you would get in a cracker bad quality my earrings were bent and just not what was expected If you buy one of these you are essentially paying a lot of money for a mediocre candle

Still waiting on my order since the end of august and i only live in New Zealand - there is no update on my order and no message on the website that says delays due to covid I have received parcels from Australia where my order is being made within a week and never this long Extremely slow service

I ordered last week and paid extra for 2-3 days delivery now if I ordered over 50 pound I recieved a free item yeh well the free item came but not the rest ive tried contacting customer services over last couple days and hardly had anything bk from the and to be told they d give me delivery instructions and im still waiting

I must say I was quite disappointed with my 2 candle purchases Mermaid Kisses and Snow Fairy given the price tag of over 100 NZD this is despite one of the items being on sale and the candles and rings in particular being of such poor quality The candles lacked aroma for me came across cheap and were definitely not worth the money similarly priced candles which I usually buy from Glasshouse fragrance are a much better alternative in my opinion One of the rings was very disappointing and cheap in quality and appearance the other was a little bit better but still cheap in appearance Overall I feel the products are very disappointing and a waste of money and do not match up to the reviews on the Royal Essence website itself

Ordered 2 soaps and a bath bomb Came today and the bath bomb was definitely worth the money The soaps however are not like any other whipped soap I ve used it s more a mushed up bar of soap shoved into a pot with no smell atall Rings didn t fit but that is my fault for not sizing properly but they are pretty rings Other than that I m unlikely to order again unless on sale as my 6 year old does like them but she knows no different
