After a problem getting my credit card accepted through the website I had to phone them No holding no endless stupid options and a really helpful lady on the other end who helped sort the issue simply and politely I picked up my machine at the local Tesco again really simple - go to the stand in store and enter the code given on your confirmation email on the correct locker I had already purchased the cleaning fluid through Amazon but all the retailers offer a good selection and the prices aren t that different from Amazon The machine is pretty heavy so be prepared I also hired the hand tool for stairs upholstery and corners edges - DEFINITELY hire the hand tool it really works well and saves you having awkward patches along your skirting where the machine cannot get close enough also fantastic on stairs as well as my sofa The machine is simple to operate just watch one of the many Youtube videos but don t be surprised how long you will need to use it for You need to move really slowly and the amount of water you will go through is a lot and I mean A LOT The most satisfying part is emptying out the dirty water after each tankful - you can see how much dirt you have actually cleaned and it s a real incentive to keep going All in all a great service at a reasonable price be prepared to spend as much on the fluid as you do on the machine hire and a great clean that you can take pleasure in having done yourself Just be prepared for a day s hard work

Bought a refurbished spot cleaner so very pleased it looks as new and brilliant for stairs and edges of carpets I do also have the original Rug Doctor but this is so lightweight for smaller areas

I arranged collection from a supermarket on 26th December - unfortunately the store was not open that day and so I had to return the following day and lost most of my 24 hour rental period A little over an hour after submitting an online complaint RugDoctor contacted me by telephone and offered a full refund I had requested a partial refund and an offer of a free rental in the future Excellent customer service that exceeded my expectations Well done RugDoctor
