After conducting extensive research and reading numerous positive reviews I decided to purchase a Run-Chicken The installation process was quick straightforward and the product functioned perfectly However after about six months I noticed that the Run-Chicken was consuming batteries rapidly requiring a new set every 8-10 days I reached out to customer support via email and they typically responded within a day After running several tests as they requested it was determined that the device was drawing too much power They quickly sent me a replacement drive motor assembly Since installing the new unit I haven t experienced any issues or needed to replace the batteries for over four months so far Run-Chicken has proven to be an excellent company to work with demonstrating professionalism throughout

This is my 2 nd one purchased for a separate coop I have Absolutely love this Tried another brand tool up sent back after 1 day love how battery run low alerts so never have to worry it will stop working I can now leave and take trips Thankyou for your product

The door works well and it s easy to program using the app Batteries continued working through -38 degree temps and are still running now after 10 months

I received the chicken door very quickly I haven t got this one installed yet but I have been using another one for over a year now We live in Montana so we get plenty of cold weather it got down to -30 last year and it worked great It was very easy to install and program to open and close with a timer It works great so I bought a 2nd one to put in our run

Quick shipping great value super easy set up works perfectly I replaced the chain link on our run door with hardware cloth used two 1x2 slats to set the screws into behind the hardware cloth It s solid and works as intended

We just installed our new Run-Chicken door and couldn t be happier We love that it was easy to install and operate I was a bit worried about bedding getting stuck in the frame due to how low our door sits but it has not been an issue Our chickens caught on fast and it keeps them safe at night
