Never received the goods they went to an old address I left 7 years ago

NOT AT ALL SATISFIED

NOT AT ALL SATISFIED- We have been receiving servicing visits from Safelincs engineers for our fire extinguishers for over 5 years now However never before have we been advised of critical defects on the service reports This year there are 3 critical defects mentioned on our service reports all with the same description - Not enough coverage for size risks on site If the fire extinguishers in the area highlighted on the service reports do not provide enough coverage why wasn t this mentioned to us all these years during our last visits We do not understand why is it only now being highlighted as a critical defect now especially when there haven t any major changes in laws or regulations recently regarding this issue As we have noticed from previous years- the Safelincs engineers always try and find some fault to build up a quotation - We will be using another company to service our fire safety equipment henceforth Furthermore the engineer never contacted prior to the appointment to inform us with a visit time he just showed up at our premises late afternoon without informing us

Poor customer experience

Unfortunately not a great experience lost almost 3 months of my life to deal with Safelincs and still not resolved I was happy to provide feedback over the phone rather than write this review but it would require to return a call back which did not happen I paid for fire doors survey which was scheduled for 6 11 23 however no one attended I contacted Safelincs received an apology human error miscommunication between Safelincs and third party surveyor - it can happen A week later I must chase Safelincs to provide a new date and then chase again and Visit eventually scheduled for 12 12 23 Five weeks later still no report provided I contacted Safelincs to chase report on 02 01 24 no response Contacted again on 04 01 24 was told to wait another 2 weeks I explained I have deadline that I have to meet 15 01 2024 I was told that they request report to be dealt with urgently And that s the last communication received on 05 01 24 I paid for a service 3 months ago I needed to have the report by 15 01 24 but nothing received and no communication from Safelincs unless I sent an email and chase and chase and chase Massive disappointment in customer service communication with customer non-existing I think I have pretty good idea now how much customer and their experience mean to Safelincs so unfortunately I will not use in the future and will not recommend Still hoping to get the report which I passed the deadline for thanks Safelincs lesson learned

Breach of contract Consumer Rights Act

I bought a smoke detector set one of the detectors was faulty I did not install one of the other detectors I contacted the company sent pictures of the front and back I was asked by Charlotte Houlsby to send a picture of the front of the detector even though this was supplied In the second email from Charlotte I was asked to provide the model number which was sent on Saturday I have received a response to my email or delivery of the smoke detector Thankfully I purchased the items by using my credit card so I have protection against unscrupulous online companies that sell products cheaper than there competitors as they have no intention of complying with the law I bought smoke detectors with a 10 year battery which are defective they did not even last 30 days I have not received a replacement so I will be purchasing the detectors elsewhere and I will be seeking a refund The company is in breach of contract and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 The goods purchased are not of a satisfactory quality not fit for purchase and does match its description Before the company requests my details the manager Claire Wigmore is fully aware as she was included in the emails I prefer to pay extra for a company which is honest complies with the legislation does not mislead the consumer by stating the detector will be replaced and 7 days later is still waiting It did not take 7 days for them to debit my card and I paid for next day delivery I no longer want a replacement and I will require a full refund Buyer beware Save yourself the headache and purchase for an established business like B Q Homebase Screwfix etc At least you can visit the store and speak to someone

Terrible customer service supplied sub standard kit then agreed return then refused to refund extremely shoddy goods not fit for purpose no other option but to take them to court as more people should its the only way to stop them

They use Evri for delivery Evri are consistently badParcel has not been delivered despite Evri saying it has after saying it was delayed

Take forever

I ve never waited so long in my life for a simple request to be responded to Its actually laughable

Worst delivery service I have known

As of today I still have not received my order it was despatched early after placing the order but the courier being Evri have as usual have delayed delivery It seems that every order using this service is held up

Stay away

Stay away Sent me faulty alarms I returned them via special courier they didn t give refund or replacement they are very unreliable scammers
